Signs a Man Is Falling in Love

Updated on April 30, 2019

Signs A Man Is Falling In Love

If only we could read a man’s mind to know what they are feeling and whether they are feeling something stronger than just friendship towards us. Without reading his mind there are some tell-tale signs you could look out for, showing whether he is falling in love with you.

In general, men are pretty stubborn and proud, so you won’t hear him say that he is falling in love with you. Before it gets to the point where he confesses his love, here are some signs you can look out for when you are curious to know,

He stands up when you enter a room

If he is falling in love with you, he’ll most probably notice you when you walk into a room, no matter how crowded it is. Spotting you from across a jam-packed room he will most probably stand up to come and meet you.

He keeps eye contact

Looking into your beautiful eyes is one of his favorite things. And staring at you for as long as possible shows that he’s really into you.

He tries to touch you

Most men are physical beings and getting up close and personal with you will be his priority. Even if it’s a quick touch to your hand or a caring guiding hand on your lower back, he will surely try to touch you as much as he possibly can when he is in love.

He sends you messages and replies promptly

When he’s falling in love, he will probably be hovering over his phone, waiting for your text or call. He will reply promptly and sound very interested in what you’re doing. Asking you questions about your day and the things you’ve done in the past. He would want to know absolutely everything about you.

He won’t be ashamed

He will like to show you off, even when you’re not dating, he will walk close to you and introduce you to his friends and family while showing pride – as if you are his trophy. This shows that he feels good when he’s with you and that he wants to be associated with you.

He will make plans

Men are natural hunters and when he is falling in love, he will make plans to meet up and to treat you like the princess you are. Taking you on dates and showing you how much better your life will be with him.

He will do some background checking

Yes, men do it too. He will stalk your social media and look at the competition and by competition, we mean men you’ve dated before. He will most probably bring it up during a conversation as his jealous tendencies will show up sooner or later. Jealousy in a healthy form is not a bad thing since it shows how interested he is in you.

If he is showing any of the signs mentioned above, he is absolutely smitten with you! If you reciprocate his feelings then give him a break and let him take you out on a date. Who knows, this could turn into something serious.

But maybe you are waiting anxiously to fall deeply in love with the person you want to spend your life with. If so, again, go to GoMarry.com and make your life easier!

I agree with the last three items as signs a man is serious.

Generally a guy who is just passing through has no interest in introducing someone to their "inner circle" (parents, siblings, co-workers) and other aspects of their private world.

They also have little interest in becoming deeply acquainted with yours. Instead of going with you to your company party they will try to make arrangements to meet you (afterwards) or at another time. Keeping a distance makes it easier to avoid commitment.

Making (future plans) is key someone is serious especially if those plans are to be acted upon weeks or months away. While being "spontaneous" is seen as romantic. It's truly a sign someone is serious if they're booking hotels and buying tickets for events, getaways, and holidays which are down the road.

It usually means he anticipates being around you for a while.

Having said that the first 4 signs you mentioned may be displayed by almost any guy who wants to get laid! There is an old adage:

"If you see a man opening a car door for a woman, he's either got a (new) girlfriend or a (new) car."

In the beginning both (men) and women have been known to be on their "best behavior" to impress someone they want to get close to. No one wants to say or do anything which might blow their chances. It takes time for people to reveal their intentions.
