Short Scene of a Chapter

"Let life take control. Let yourself breathe through the breaths. Ah, life is all about the moments in which you breathe. For without oxygen, there is no life. At times, it just pays to take some time and smell the roses". Shayane trailed off into a train of thought as she walked barefoot on the beach.

"This view is so mesmerizing. Even the sand is different. It seems to connect with my body directly. I don't know, its as if I can feel my pulse beating, without even trying to. I feel so connected to life. Its like-- like a telepathic connection James, and its beautiful." Shayane spoke in a light tone.

James blinked his eyes with an understanding smile.

"Oh Shay, look at that view." James pointed his hand to the horizon. The sun was hidden among the clouds, forming a twilight spread. "This really is a feast for my eyes. The clouds are so well dispersed. Some of them are right above those hilly islands over there, look! I would just love to glide in between those clouds, and lose myself within."

Shay put her head on his shoulder and smiled happily. "Gliding into the sunset, you mean?" James nodded. He put his arm around her and smiled back at her. The wind blew across the coast, waving in between Shay's curls. And at that moment, James took a deep breath. He decided to take in this moment. For that single moment, it felt pretty great to let life take control. Life indeed, was a bed of roses.

i liked it. Too short to really bring anything out but just a suggestion; you should try writing closer to home. Maybe even non fiction romance. I bet you'd really hit it with that

      9. Very discriptive and detailed scene. Your words have the power to change an ordinary scene into a special one!!
