Ten Reasons He Hasn't Called You Back

Updated on November 8, 2020

Ten Date Commandments

Time and time again we will go on a first date and think everything went great for the evening. However, when he drops you off in his mind he is thinking, "this chick will not hear from me ever again!" The next day you sit near your phone and wonder why he hasn't called. One day turns into several days and now your concerned. Should you call him? What did you do to deserve not to get a called back? You probably broke one of the ten dating commandments and didn't even know it!

#1 Thou shall not talk about marriage on the first date. Don't let the guy know you are interested in marriage on the first date. Guys want to go out and have a good time and get to know you. They don't want to know you are lonely and can't wait to pick out your white dress. When you talk about marriage on the first date you scare men off and they will think you are desperate.

#2 Thou shall not drop your panties on the first date. This is wrong on every level. Some guys are going out with you just to see if they can score. Once they do then what is the point of calling you back. They got what they wanted and didn't have to work for it. Make him work for it and don't do anything at all. Please practice self control. If he likes you he will wait. I know you think it's impossible in today's world, but anything is possible if you trust what God says. We trust men so much that we go against God's word which clearly states fornication is wrong. So in other words don't do it!

#3 Don't Talk About Your Ex- He came to hear about you not to hear about how much you hate your ex. You will sound bitter and you don't want to dwell on the past. If he ask you about your past relationship just kindly say ,you don't wish to discuss it at the moment. Tell him you want to learn more about him. Leave the past in the past.

#4 Don't Drink Too Much. It may be o.k. to have a glass of wine with your dinner ,but don't drink seven shots and eight martinis and get sloppy drunk. Not only is this not lady like, it is not a good first impression. Also, you have to be cautious because some guys can try to get you really drunk so they can take advantage of you and that can be dangerous.

#5 Don't Order Everything on the Menu- Again we are trying to score lady points here and you don't want to have more food than him on your plate. If you have a hearty appetite eat a small meal at home first and drink some water. If you eat before you won't be starving by the time you get to dinner.

#6 Don't Dress Too Revealing- Leave something to the imagination, let him wonder what you have underneath your dress. This adds class points. There are many WOMEN out here ,but few CLASSY LADIES.

#7 Let Him Show Chivalry- O.K. we know you are an independent women ,but let him open your door. Don't hop out the car. Wait for him to walk over and open the door for you. Take his arm and let him know you like being with him. Let your date be a gentlemen.

#8 Leave The Cussing to the Sailors- Watch your language. He shouldn't feel like he is going out with one of his boys. Speak gently and watch your language.

#9 Don't Ask what he thinks of you or if you will have a second date?- Don't sound desperate. If he is interested, he will let you know and you don't have to ask. Let him ask for a second date or compliment you. This lets him know you are confident in who you are.

#10 Don't Stay out too late and then go to his house- The first date should never end up in someone's living room or bedroom. This is too intimate for the first date. Let him know you have to get up early and you have to head home (This also helps you to not break commandment #2).

Please ladies follow my advice and you will have lots of dates and eventually get married. You should have options not deadlines.
