Wedding Gifts from a Groom to his Bride
Traditional Gifts From a Groom To His Bride
The most traditional gift a groom would give his bride would be pearls. Pearls are beautiful and elegant. Your bride can wear the pearls on her wedding day and they are a gift that would last a lifetime. Another traditional gift is diamonds and of course diamonds last forever. You could also get her a jewelry or trinket box to keep the jewelry in, and even get it personalized if you wish. Many grooms also send roses to their bride to be with a love note attached. Any of these ideas are romantic and elegant.
Think Outside of The Box
If you are looking for a gift for your bride that is not so traditional and a little more unique you will have to think outside of the box. Think about your wife and what personally makes her happy. What makes her smile? Personalize your gift with your own special touch. For our first anniversary my husband bought me an antique love letter holder. This would be a great gift for a groom to his bride on their wedding day. You may not be able to find an antique love letter holder, but maybe you can find a new one, something similar, or have one handcrafted. You could probably have someone you know who is very crafty help you make something beautiful for your new bride. You could have a song written for her, or a poem, or if you are talented in that way you could write the song or poem yourself. Naming a star after your new bride would also be a very romantic way to say, "I Love You".
The Most Romantic Wedding Gift Ever
While all of these gift ideas are awesome, I received the most romantic wedding gift from my husband that any groom could give to his bride. (In my opinion). My husband to be bought me some pearl earrings to wear for our wedding and a trinket box to keep them in, (his parents had bought me my pearl necklace already), he sent me roses, had a love note waiting in the car for me on the morning of our wedding, but nothing compared to the beautiful wedding bench that he had personalized for me with his wedding vows waiting for me at the altar at our wedding on the beach. It was the most thoughtful thing that anyone has ever given me. I love it. Our wedding bench is in our yard reminding me everyday of what a wonderful man I was lucky enough to marry. It brings so much joy to my heart to know that he loved me enough to have something so beautiful and unique created just for me.
No matter what a groom chooses to give his new bride, even if it is something as simple as a letter to express his love, or as elaborate as my beautiful bench, just make sure it comes from your heart and she is sure to love it.
