The Last First Kiss for Life
True Love can Happen
Ooh, love's first kiss. It is beautiful, it is stimulating and breathtaking. How many first kisses does a person really need? Is there a first kiss as a child, a first romantic kiss as a teenager? Is there a first lasting kiss from the love of your life, or the love of the moment?
I have had a lot of first kisses. I wanted kisses from some people I never got a chance to kiss, and I did not always like the first kiss I got from someone. To me, finding that last first kiss is the moment in time when you have found your complete self. That one person who, above all else, gives you the lasting feeling of love, security, passion, and truth.
Not everyone is lucky enough to find their last first kiss in their lifetime. Some don't know what they have until it's gone. I have experienced my last first kiss. I am not always happy with the person who gave me the thrill of that last first kiss, sometimes I want to walk away and hear silence, nothing, and calm, but I would not trade the tirades for anything. I think the frustration and passion of two people who have chosen to stay together for the rest of their lives gives excitement and a challenge that almost always is worth the determination to work through the troubles.
That last first kiss keeps you going through the day, and relaxes you at night. It is a surprise as you are walking down the street, or sitting in your comfortable chair. The last first kiss lasts a lifetime. You will never get rid of that last first kiss. Each time you kiss it will be different, yet it will be the same. You will recognize the lips that gently brush against yours before leaving for work, and the pressure of that passionate kiss on a special occasion. You will know that it is another last first kiss by the goosebumps you feel. You'll know it because you will lose your breath, your heart will beat a little faster, your head will get light and you won't pay attention to anything around you. Nothing exists outside of the kiss, the embrace, the love.
I hope that each of you gets to experience that last first kiss for life. It is worth it.
