Forever Friends!!!

Forever Friends!!!
Forever Friends!!!

Throughout our lives we see thousands of people. Most, we will never cross paths with twice. However, those that affect our lives in some special way, become our friends.

There are three categories that friendships tend to fall into.

The first kind steps in for just a moment, and their function is to assist in some special way.

The second ones may stay longer than a minute, and develop into a relevant chapter in our lives.

The third kinds of friendships become our forever friends.....

Once we realize why we have met someone, we begin to understand the reason for their presence.

Make a new friend!

When someone is in our life for a moment, they usually enter our life quickly, in order to satisfy a specific need that we have. They tend to assist without question or judgment, during our tumultuous episodes. They offer inspiration, providing a dose of hope, meaning and courage.

These friends appear miraculously, like angels from heaven, and simply befriend us for a moment. They seem to be the answer to our prayers. They do not question how, or why, but instead offer a solution to our moment's dilemmas. Then they silently vanish, just as mysteriously as they appeared. They always remain a small, cherished memory in our mind from that moment forward.

And...We move on.

Some people enter for a chapter of our lives, perhaps a month, a year, or longer. Together, with our ‘chapter’ friends, we gain knowledge and comprehension of experiences. These friends create joyfulness. They offer us some valuable lessons, teaching us along the way, while sharing new experiences. They raise our consciousness to a higher level so that we can perceive our reality with more clarity. We cherish these friends, because they impact our lives in many ways. Experiences with these friends are remarkable and unique…

However they are fleeting; these friends only stay for a chapter of our lives.

Forever friends are with us throughout the duration of our lives.

Together, we learn life-long lessons and we accept these as valuable assets in the implementation of our lives. We build these friendships into solid relationships, with a stable foundation and structure. We love these friends unconditionally, with tender affection and compassion. Our forever friends need to be treasured and cherished. Our Forever Friends understand our past, believe in our future, and accept us just as we are. We engage what we learn from these friends, into all other personal associations, in order to flourish completely.

Whether you are a Moment, a Chapter or a Forever Friend …THANK YOU!!!

Love may be blind; however friendship can be quite insightful.

I appreciate friendships so much, without friends and love, we can be so empty.

I posted the friendship bracelet booksa because I recently pulled mine out and have been weaving away. I actually sold one on the craft-selling website...Fun, fun!

Im in my mid 40s and strangely enough, most of my closest friends are men. Although I wish I had more female friends cause once in a while it's fun and necessary to 'girl up'... All my closest girlfriends live in other States :( but we always text and email..FB has been the best form of staying in contact with my forever-friends.... Stay Cool....and thanks for the comments...

I agree with this. I take my friendships very seriously. I call the people close to me, "my circle." As they are here for me as I am there for them. Some I have known as long as 30 years, others I have known as little as 6 years. I have had the type of friends you mention, those that come for a moment, chapter, or forever. I just appreciate that I met them overall.
