During that "fun" time that I had, during What-Happened-to-a-Month-of-my-Life which resulted in numerous visits to Doctors, Radiographers waiting rooms, that I had inadvertantly been exposed to so much propaganda about female issues on relationships, communication and sex issues, that it dawned on me, that the hub pages has been carrying the same messages.
Like in all those Eureka moments, we read about throughout history, simply put I dont recall reading many of the other sexes viewpoint in an actual hub or article, other than posted comments!
What We Are
Insensitive
If, we males are then thought of as:- numb, unfeeling, insensible, insensate, not sensitive, tactless, and also thoughtless. I do not know about the rest of the male population, but I may on occasions be a bit tactless, in making some of my sharp (which I most probably think as witty) comments on relatives, personal attire choices, cooking and that host of other minefield subjects that us poor mortal males must avoid especially during that time!
That again puts me in the target zone for being a tactless and crass unsympathetic chauvinist.
Inconsiderate
We males are considered to be uncaring in what is directly personal, to the woman's perception of what we do and say. We are all guilty of leaving that toilet seat up, toothpaste lid off, toothpaste tube squeezed in the centre. Not picking up our socks and under garments up from the bathroom floor, guilty too, of a myriad of other similar day to day life threatening crimes.
Lousy Lovers
We are also, as all those Woman's Issues Magazines that we are lousy defiantly all fail as lovers as those carefully designed simple Your Man .... In bed? These tests, that woman find fascinating and fill out with a pencil and then frantically rub the answers out with a frown or scowl.
Ever wondered why we Men fail those tests, in a woman's eyes the tests are compiled by cunning sexologists, who have been hired to promote another book by someone who has seen a niche, money making market.
Sex is on most peoples minds most of the times.
Woman, including our wives, have that incorrect perception about us?
Show Her You Care
We all think that we are exempt from this and think we are compassionate, loving and considerate towards our woman, are we really?
Do we treat and care for that important woman in our lives?
Do we not grumble and moan and take out our days frustrations, at someone who had nothing to do with any of your work issues?
Are we not too easily tempted by nubile Eve's and have had or seriously considered infidelity?
Too many of us, as get married, unwittingly and unknowingly for all the wrong reasons.
In reflection of the past, faced with the facts we all need to sit back, assess the importance of those issues that are real, and disregard messed up toothpaste and raised toilet seats.
So do the following:-
- Switch off the television
- Switch off the cell phones, phones
- Switch of the PC
- Hide the car
- Lock the doors
- Keep the house dark
Preparation
Prepare ahead of time a whole range of cold snacks and finger foods, all the favorites, either made by yourself or shop bought this makes no difference.
Lay the food out on a low coffee table, or similar. Have a couple of bottles of wine, nicely chilled or opened to breathe
Go out and buy matching dressing gowns or other matching loose fitting outfits
Make sure that no one will disturb you.
The two of you are now alone in your home.
First
Have a warm bath or shower together, in a candlelight bathroom, with scented candles
Take your time and wash and groom each other
After bathing dry each other off
Put on the dressing gowns or chosen garments
Go to the room where all the food and wine is laid out - choose a restfull place!
Switch of all the lights
Light the candles
Put some of your favorite music, very softly
Feed each other the small tasty morsels of food
Share the wine
Relax
Be yourselves
Enjoy
