Transition from Boy to Man

Many believe that there is no passage for a boy to grow into a man while some cultures has a rite of passage but to me life is a journey and at such, there is no rite of passage because to set a limit on this great transition means that you need someone else's approval for your life.

Transition from Boy to Man is natural.Nevertheless most men out there still behave like boys.Therefore a boy becomes a man when he fully understands the value of a man and sees himself ready to hold the bull by the horn. Passage from boy to man is cumulated with some natural formal rites which i did observed.

Time to do certain things in life and this time differs as boys and men differs.However, thank God for who i am and where i am today. I might not be truly where i want to be but he have me where he wants me to be.

To look at me now and see how much i have grown
Days were then when i used to dream
And now are days that i only act
Man can give his soul to God or devil

The path you choose is your sole choice
To transit from boy to man is his grace
For many were there but no longer here
My father once told me to wait until i become a man

His words were my carriage and my guide
In life i can be ruthless or honest
For nothing i do is about age but wisdom
I can choose to be kind or wicked

For the day shall come when my deeds will be read
Then you will know me from the road i tread
I could be a teacher, a doctor, a comforter,a farmer
No matter what it is, i am who he wants me to be
