How to stop Crushing on someone - Why you should stop Crushing

Updated on April 25, 2015

Everyone develops a crush at some point in in their lifetime- maybe its this new girl in school or your childhood friend, maybe its your friends partner or your assistant...Well your gut always tells you not to go further- you may as well have listened or not. If you are still looking for that one convincing reason as to why you should stop crushing on someone, then I can give you one.

There are a plenty of reasons as to why you should stop crushing. (For the ease of writing I have used she, but this is applicable to both genders)

1.Its just that she doesn't care about you.

Well look around. There have been may instances in which she completely ignored you. She never tried to show the least bit of concern for you.Look out for her behavior. Observe her, you would know that she has no passion for you - a sad fact that you should learn to accept anyway.

2. She is too ignorant

She doesn't even acknowledge your existence or doesn't even care about you. She doesn't smile back at you. She has never shown any interest in getting to know you as well. If she'd liked you. she would have shown genuine interest in you.

3.She is already in a relationship.

Chances are that she is already in a relationship and you don't know it yet. Why would she bother about you then?

4.She is not ready for a relationship

Maybe its her bad experience with her ex or its some family issues, whatever it might be, she ain't in a mood for a relationship at the moment. You shouldn't push her for a relationship she doesn't' want to be in.

5.She doesn't like you.

Even if after her knowing of your feelings towards her, if she is ignorant then it implies she simply doesn't like you ( well, maybe she's is playing hard to get too). And maybe she is probably never going to like you. You should learn to accept the fact and try to move on.

Try to tell yourself as to why this crush doesn't matter.Well here are a few reasons...

1.You really don't need this .Its just that you are better off without her.You just don't know it yet. You have chances of meeting someone better.Only thing is you should have patience and a positive attitude.

2.This obsession is drying up all your mental energy and happiness. You don't need this. If you can't be happily single, then you can never be happy even if you are in a relationship. Try to be happy in your current situation and content with what you have. Learn to count your blessings.

3.Your life doesn't depend on this. Love life is not the end of the world. There are plenty of other encouraging activities for you to do.Don't be angry with her. Its just that she doesn't like you.

4. It's not being in love with, its the idea of being in love with that you are obsessed about. You just need to figure this out.Don't be silly and don't waste your happiness simply because you want a girlfriend. You will get one the right moment.

5.There are plenty of other fish in the sea. You should probably try to meet someone new or start another new hobby.Just wait for the right opportunity.

Don't waste your precious time and happiness pleasing someone who is probably never going to like you. This is your life. You need to live it the way you want it to be. Always do what you feel is right for yourself . Stop wasting time pleasing others.Follow your gut. You were born to make yourself happy. To make yourself proud .This is your life. Live your dreams. Don't let yourself feel down simply because a girl rejected your proposal. You have plenty other things to worry about.

The great god has created you and has brought you up this far. If he can do this much, he is gonna give you the best partner too. Only thing is you need to wait, Wait for the right moment to come.Be patient and optimistic.
