What Constitutes A Marriage?

Updated on July 31, 2009

Should God bend with the times, should He declares certain things to be outdated, should He change with the times? After all this is the year 2009, God needs to get with it. There should not be a “Ten Commandments” now; it should be the “Ten Suggestions”. What’s love got to do with it, it aint about all that. It’s about “if it feels good to ya, it ought to be good for ya”

Why does love have any thing to do with it when you want to have sex out side of marriage but has nothing to do with it when you are married? “We are in love, so I see no reason why we cannot have sex.” We are not in love any more so I want a divorce. God will understand, after all he knows my heart and he wants me to be happy. “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous of boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way…” (I Cor. 13:4-5)

Marriage was instituted and designed by God. People either know that or they just don’t care about that because the new liberal left wants to redefine what marriage ought to be. I know I’m going to get some heat for this but I have to say it. God designed marriage to be between one man and one woman.
