Thoughts of you instill in me
a spirit not yet captured
a flavor not yet tasted,
a passion still not rapture,
a song that hasn't yet begun,
the first breath of its singers...
in melodies unquenched
by memories that linger.
But do not fret
if time that's shared
is found to be infrequent,
for life holds obligations
even love must come in seqence,
Is not one long.... kiss just as nice
as every night's embraces...
time brings your bliss at welcoming
love back from distant places.
Cherish every moment
each word shared is quite rare,
if there was more you'd have it,
love's gifts aren't always be there...
Men must make wars
and business calls
so much gets in the way,
of two just being two as one
stolen by hectic days.
Collect the minutes that we've known
like photos, fondly view them,
from absence..... stronger love is grown,
always near is but illusion.
Hold no regrets, for life begets,
just so much joy per couple,
but when you're finally back again
all the dreams you've missed will double.
And the loneliness between you both,
will be your dream's redeemer
when at last it makes the time you spend
together far more sweeter!
