    Have considered the problem is with my behaviour, but my parents were the last resort as I have been in Italy for 10 years.  I always show respect to them but my mother doesn't want any of her friends to know she has an adult daughter and she lives in fear of her friends finding out- the question was a different one to the one you answered but thanks all the same- v interesting the salt printing feature.

    Your heading was a statement not a question, despite having a question mark tagged on the end.
    You then went on to tell us about the split and your problems getting a job, and how your mother doesn't want you there, and how your boyfriend loves you but can't live with you.
    You then asked your question:
    'What is my next step?'
    To which I answered along the lines, have you considered the fault is with your behavior.
    After your Question, you started a new sentence revealing your worries about losing him completely because of your mother's call.
    Glad you liked the salt print article, you ought to try it, it's fun, and creative, although the cyanotype method is older, cheaper, and safer; some salt print chemicals are toxic.
