Picking 1 of 4 are you amiable, analytical, a driver, or expressive and does your career match?
After being in sales for many years I have learned that there are basically four different types of people and most match their careers. An example would be a lot of bartenders/servers are expressive, accountants are usually analytical, drivers tend to work in sales or strive as CEO's, amiable everything from nurses to fire fighters, etc. Although many have a little mix their defined personality will mainly fit one. Which one are you and does your career match?
Analytical. I do not have a career. I had a career as a scientist and professor at the Academia. It is past.
I suppose I still have roles to play but my needs and wants have been reduced to the simplest.
Amiable, easy to get along with and fun to be with( that's what I have been told) fits my personality description. I am a lab technologist and I do not interact much with my co-workers as I deal with chemistry and hematology analyzers most of the time in my department.Communication relative to my job is done through interoffice email. My job does not correspond specifically to any of the mentioned personalities but I am amiable by nature, I think.
