Why Women Sometimes Hate Men!

Updated on April 28, 2014

What makes women absolutely hate men?

Don't get me wrong here! I am not a hardcore feminist or anything to say "I hate men" with deep vehemence. But there are times when we women just hate men. Only at times mind you! I'm sure guys feel the same about the women in their life at times. The feeling is certainly unavoidable. You feel like tearing their hair apart, or better shoot down your partner. But thank god we are not barbaric in nature anymore.

I was deeply amused to see that there were numerous sites online dedicated to "I hate my husband". Sites where people go on and on about how they hate their partners and how they were feeling miserable. But the end point is that they all love their partners too which is why they don't want to leave hence ending up resolving their problems.

What makes women completely go mad and hysterical when it comes to men? What makes women hate men? What are the reasons why women hate men? Here are some of the things I feel that can drive a woman to hate her man.

P.S - Please, I repeat PLEASE do not take the things written on this hub in a serious manner. It is just meant for a casual fun read.

Why Women Hate Men? Reason #1 - The Male Ego

Now I can see many women out there nodding their heads to this!

The numero uno reason why any women would hate her man would be because of his ego. The very gentle, powerful yet complex male ego. The man can do absolutely nothing about it - it's all inbuilt but at times women wish that men let go of their egos to understand their viewpoint once in a while.

Why Women Hate Men? Reason #2 - Too Girly?

I get plain irritated to see guys who cry at the drop of a hat. I don't mind seeing guys crying for matters that are worth crying for -- but for every damn single thing? Not really. This is quite a contrast to the previous reason where I mentioned the male ego can be a big problem, but that doesn't mean women like men who get very emotional over everything. There are times women want to shake their partner up and tell them to "act like a man".

Yes, we all want our partners to open up to us and crying is one such emotion which you show only when you are comfortable with someone. That's alright! But yeah, don't ever overdo it! Too much of anything can be a terror!

Why Women Hate Men? Reason #3 - Liar Liar!

I don't really know anyone who likes to get lied to! Women absolutely hate lies -- and when we are confronted with the truth we don't like the situation much either. Oh well! Women can be very complex at times.

It's very important in a relationship to be honest with your partner. If you keep lying to her about things she feels strongly about, boy are you in some trouble!

Why Women Hate Men? Reason #4 - Narcissism

Oh God! How I absolutely hate men who are narcissists! Women like to hear compliments and imagine a situation where the guy goes on and on about... himself. The girl keeps waiting to do some sweet talk, but the guy doesn't have time for all that. It can be cute to a point, but after that it just turns plain irritating.

Why Women Hate Men? Reason #5 - Too Flirty!

It is human tendency to flirt whenever you come across an attactive personality of the opposite sex. Women are generally possessive about their partners and they absolutely hate men who give too much of their attention to someone else. Heck, we don't even like it that much when men shower too many compliments about another woman. Trust me, if you are going out on that first date -- you can't make the situation more worse than talking about the various "gorgeous" people you have dated before in your life.

Why Women Hate Men? Reason #6 - "Sorry! I Forgot!"

The number of times I have heard my husband say "I forgot!" is countless. It might be just one of his little tricks to avoid chores, but it can be plain irritating to hear! We don't like important dates to be forgotten and women hate men who forget how "important" events can be.

Why Women Hate Men? Reason #7 - Too Tired to Help!

Women are good at multitasking, but how we wish men were too! There are times when you return from work and you look for some help around the house, but you don't get any! That's one of the times women completely hate men. If you have kids to tend to, then god bless you!
