It is better, though not advisable perhaps, to be the opposite and act like you could have anyone than display no confidence whatsoever.

That said, try not to be too arrogant, as this can be a turn-off. Quiet confidence shows you are comfortable with yourself.

Women also like men who show they are interested and who listen to them, so it pays not to talk about yourself for five minutes and listen to her.
