Life is Relationships - Maintain good relationships with your loved one's!

Updated on December 26, 2016

What is life? Isn't it just relationships? Weren't you born out from a relationship. Without relationships where would you stand? So maintaining good relationships with our loved one's is the key to success and happiness. A strong civilization depends upon strong families which then depend upon warm, loving relationships within the family. So what should be done to have great and loving relationships within the family?

To maintain good relationships it doesn't mean that we should do what our family members demand. We have our intution which we need to follow. Of course we can take advice from our family members but ultimately we have to take our own decisions. Good relations are NOT maintained by making our family members happy. Yes, We can't make anybody happy, that is truth of life. We can make only one person happy and that is ourselves. People have this false expectations that their spouse or children will make them happy. But happiness depends upon our stillness of energies so how can some material or living being make us happy. They can give us pleasures but not happiness. And happiness is more valuable than pleasure. It is like addiction and the feeling of well being in body and mind is throughout 24 hours. Imagine feeling joyful 24 hours 7 days a week. Wouldn't it be simply great to be in such a state? So all we need to do is increase our energy levels and end our inner conflicts by accepting the moments as they are and conserve energy.

When we are happy ourselves naturally people living with us would catch up the vibrations that we would send 24 hours. So they would learn from us to be happy, in this way happiness spreads. So if you want to make your loved one's happy then be happy yourself. And if people are happy that means no conflicts exist and relations are strong and loving.

We need to focus on two things - 1) Acceptance of moments as they come and 2) Increasing our energy levels.

Accepting moments : When we accept moments as they come then conflict cease to exist, when their is no conflict then their isn't any wastage of energies and "energy is still". This stillness of energy gives you joy. Also we need to experience people as they are. No analysis and judging people. Analaysis leads to paralysis. We need to know that each human is different and unique and has his own conditioning and education. It would be foolishness to judge them on standards set by us or society. So accepting them as they are without conflict and asking too many questions is the best way to maintain relationships. This creates love and warmth in relationship.

Now to increase our energy levels : When we give regular rest both to our mind and body, we conserve energy. The best way to waste energy is gossiping, arguments, pointless talking and useless thinking. Avoidance of such activities keep us enthusiastic each day. Also practising spiritual breathing (discussed in one of my hubs - outer success and inner happiness ), meditation and yoga can increase energy levels in our body.

So if you want good relationships then experience peopel as they are and be happy!
