All or Nothing

Updated on February 14, 2015

Colossians 3:11 “….but Christ is all and in all”

This is such an eye opening scripture. When I read this it hit my spirit and I could see a little into this. Christ is ALL and in ALL, meaning Christ is everything and in everything. Jesus wants to be the major part of your life. He doesn’t want to be a small part. He wants to be involved in everything. People would be surprised to know that Jesus even wants to know the things we consider small and insignificant, from how to get out of a troublesome situation to what to eat for dinner. He just wants to be included in it ALL.

Truth is when you got born again you made Jesus the Lord of your life, He is your Shepherd and you are to follow Him. Submit to Him in everything. Jesus is either in all or He is in nothing.

So in pondering on this it led me to the following:

Ladies lets treat our Husbands the same. Our Husbands are either in ALL or they are in nothing. There is no in between.

Your Husband wants to be everything to you and in everything. When you got married you were no longer single, as scriptures say in Genesis 2:24 and Ephesians 5:31 “for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

Let us get rid of our single mindedness and realise that we are no longer two people but we are one flesh with our Husband. When you are operating on your own you are not blended with your partner. You and your Husband are still of two minds.

You show love when you include your Husband in everything and treat him like he is everything. By doing this, you eliminate dishonesty and unfaithfulness, adultery and so much more, all of which our marriages are facing today. No matter how insignificant you think something is, remember you are not insignificant to your Husband and he want to know what is going on. When you let your Husband in on this level you really are making him feel safe and secure as well as loved and included. You are then as a couple BLENDED as One!

Let us work harder at our communication in our marriages, let us take it to the next level, a much higher level.

Is your Husband everything to you and in everything? If he isn’t, then today seems like a good day to change that.
