The flawless perfection of The Lord becomes apparent in this awe-inspiring Psalm which announces His illustrious Power and Supremacy. God is truly worthy of Praise! This Psalm vehemently proclaims the Greatness of The Lord. There is an undeniable, indisputable evidence that we are surrounded by His glorious, ubiquitous omnipresence throughout this universe. The majestic sky is a magnificent display of His incredible handiwork. No one, nothing nor any other entity can claim such a marvelous grand signature.

The Lord’s knowledge and wisdom are infinite. His brilliant spiritually divine aptitude is immeasurable and unexplainable! Here within this Psalm David magnifies The Lord as Creator of the universe. The frameless never ending sky is a visible manifestation of His ever changing, elaborate intricate canvas that declares His endless Glory everyday.

“By Faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command. So that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” Hebrews 11. Through Faith we believe that God called into existence what we can see from what is not visible! It is through Faith we are assured that God’s Word is True! His Divine Omnipotent characteristics becomes more and more evident as we spend time in His presence and in His Word.

If you ever find yourself in a difficult place, without hope, in doubt or in need of reassurance camp right here in this Psalm and meditate a moment. The Lord really can make a difference in your life! Ask The Lord to open your spiritual eyes and ears and fill you with His Holy Spirit so you can absorb the astonishing wisdom contained within this Psalm. There is absolutely nothing to compare or weigh against God He is LIGHT and in Him is no darkness. Regardless as to what has happened or what is going on know that The Lord has a way through it! Whatever is weighing on you will begin to lift as you embrace the Truth of His WORD.

We can be ever Thankful for Jesus Christ who shed His life for us upon the cross. He redeemed us from the curse of sin! It is through Him the Lord spoke this world into existence! He is The Word of God that became manifested in sinless flesh! When we accept Him into our hearts as our Personal Savior and Lord, His Holy Spirit who is the Counselor, Internal Teacher, Comforter and Guide takes up residence within our hearts! All of us have fallen short of His Glory. As long as we are on this side of heaven it is to learn, grow and improve! This is why all of us need Him as our Savior! He helps us to live our lives to please The Lord as we ask for His infilling Presence! “And I will ask The Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – The Spirit of Truth.” John 14.

GOD'S WORD IS “ALIVE!” It takes His Holy Spirit to illuminate our understanding in order to help us begin to understand the infallible Truth of His Word. It is in Him we can ascertain His Peace that surpasses the understanding of man! Yes some things will have to change! But life is about changing and growing… It is in Him we can accomplish the impossible. God is Faithful! We must learn to place our Faith & Trust in The Lord! “Now Faith is being sure of what we HOPE for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11. It is not possible to please The Lord without Faith! God will do what He says. All His promises are true. This is why it is so important to spend time in His Word.

GOD is truly an Awesome GOD and this Psalm declares His magnificent GLORY!

There is always HOPE in THE LORD!

The superior greatness of The Lord who is greater than life itself characteristics are revealed within this Psalm. His sumptuous, ostentatious presence cries forth all throughout the universe. There is not a day that passes that The Lord is not speaking to us! Just step outside and take a look upward. The sky is a perpetual everlasting display for all to see His Glory. It is also where we all will see The Lord return.

GOD is continually speaking to this world through HIS CREATION!

“The heavens declare the Glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands! Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display his knowledge.”

What is so wonderful the sky radiantly emanates a silent and sometimes thunderous wordless universal language to let us know that God is! The picturesque firmament is a huge expansive canopy that He has placed above us so that everyone can bear witness. The sky is a divine manifested revelation of the power of the Lord! Again it displays His handiwork. “There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into ALL the earth, the words to the end of the world.”

The Psalmist David brings to our attention that the sun; which is the star of the solar system, lights the world and he compares it to a bridegroom! How remarkably fascinating that there is but one sun! Here the sun is contrasted to a bridegroom who is usually bursting with enthusiasm and cheerfulness. The sometimes frantic joy he emits can hardly be contained! The sun as well emits a brilliance that profusely lights the entire world. How amazing when it is setting in one place it is rising in another all throughout the world…“In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.”

The Old Testament first five books contain the Law of the Lord. The Torah which is the Jewish Pentateuch used in their services is also known as The Law of The Lord! The Lord’s instructions are spiritual precepts that have been provided to convert the soul! They are perfect in the sense that they lack nothing. It is infallible consummate wisdom to help us grow spiritually and help us properly navigate through this maze of life. When even the simplest minded, uneducated person embraces the Truth of The Lord’s Word they can become wise… “God is not a respecter of persons…!” James 2.

We are all sinners saved by Grace! His Holy Spirit is available to all that will accept Jesus Christ as Lord and invite Him into their heart. We then become children of God and embark on a lifetime of spiritual growth… Now that we are His children we must begin to look through spiritual eyes. We must began to embrace and implement the principles of HIS WORD within our daily lives.

Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law. PRAISE GOD. “The Law was a Schoolmaster to bring us to Christ so that we might be justified by FAITH.” Galatians 3. To teach us right from wrong! It is through FAITH our souls can be refueled and restored whenever we put our Trust in The Lord and in His Word! “The law of The Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statues of the Lord are TRUSTWORTHY making wise the simple.”

GOD is always speaking everywhere around the world. ALL of this world just have to get better at listening! Speak LORD!!! "Be still & KNOW!"

There is an indescribable JOY that comes from believing in The Lord and His Word that can make your heart REJOICE. Come what may we can always and forever depend on GOD to be GOD. “The precepts of The Lord are right, giving JOY to the heart.”

You do not have to walk in darkness! You do not have to walk alone. Spend time each day with the Lord and seek His direction. This helps you to better recognize His voice. In His Word we can always find spiritual guidance. “The commands of The Lord are radiant, giving LIGHT to the eyes.”

Here David compares the ordinances of The Lord with gold. Gold is just one of His precious ores from the earth to GOD. In our earlier lessons we learned that David was one of wealthiest Kings to live. His son Solomon became the richest King to have ever lived. Certainly he knows what he is talking about. Yet he describes that the Law of the Lord is even more precious than gold. This is quite interesting coming from a man that had every material possession one could ever want and more…Yet, what he cherished most was having the Lord in his life.

As we begin building an ongoing personal and intimate relationship with Him through Jesus Christ and drawing closer to the Lord, He will write His laws within our heart. Our love and respect for Him grows and our understanding is opened more and more… Our spiritual eyes and ears commence to open. However we must daily discipline ourselves and ask for His Holy Spirit to fill us... The Lord in His time will reward us for our sincerity. “The fear of The Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of The Lord are sure and altogether RIGHTEOUS! They are more precious than gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb! By KEEPING them your servant is warned; in KEEPING them is a great reward.”

There is Power in The Blood of Jesus! It can cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Not because of who we are but because of who The Lord is! God sees deep into our hearts where no one else can see. He knows us from “the inside out.” This is true of everyone, everywhere throughout the world. As we repent and accept His forgiveness we can move forward becoming ALL that He created us to be! Know that God has a plan just for your life that only you can fulfill. I assure you that moving towards Him will change your life! He can help you to gain discipline over your weaknesses! He can fulfill that void in your life. He can help you become the “Best You!” But in order for this to happen you must begin spending time with Him.

God wants the Fruit of His Spirit to flourish in our lives. “But The Fruit of The Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5. His Fruit will spontaneously grow within us as we embrace The Truth of His Word! This is what “letting go and letting God” is all about.

When we join our lives to Him we can walk in a harmonious cadence. Knowing that He is ALWAYS a PRAYER away! His Holy Spirit becomes our Comforter and Guide! We now want to commence learning how to live to please Him! Yes bad things will still happen. Yes you will make mistakes… Yes at times you will be dissapointed. BUT Yes, He can make our JOY full! “God will never leave nor forsake us.” He is always there waiting for us to reach out to Him! God can and will bring us through every time! We can have confidence in HIM because we are covered by The Blood of JESUS! When our life's journey on earth is completed we will then live with Him forever! PRAISE GOD for HIS PLAN of SALVATION! Please don' let another day pass without getting to know the Lord! You can Accept HIM into your heart today or if you have grown slack in your commitment, recommit to HIS WILL & HIS WAY!... Jesus Christ provides us with The Everlasting Solid Rock Foundation for the journey. Now step out on Faith and Trust Him.

“Who can discern His errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they NOT rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.”

GOD LOVES YOU and wants to spend time with you. Take some time to read, ponder, and then let it marinate in your soul as you meditate on the invaluable spiritual wisdom within this entire Psalm. Let this last verse become your daily theme. There is cleansing power in the WORD!

This Psalm concludes saying: “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight. O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer!”
