medicine for anxiety: Phillippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
I have been and am, by nature, an anxious person. Gotta do this and gotta do that, the world will surely end if I don’t meet my daily objectives.
Yesterday was difficult in that respect. Up late (early?) into the AM and did not get where I wanted to be. Got up this morning and went to church, it was a good message to hear; similar to today’s above. Be childlike in our approach to God, trusting in Him. Believing in Him and on Him.
Be aware, perhaps a bit concerned, but lean on Him heavily. He will calm our hearts.
Another week coming up, prepare to do battle. It’s kind of like that sometimes.
But He will be there and we will do fine.
Maybe something awesome will happen, why not think big? After all, He has been known to make big things happen.
Feeling better already.
