God will always find the way to remind us of our Truth, for there will always be people who will make their lives a medium of His manifestation! The Lantern Carrier is one of them!

A Gift of Knowledge

I thank life for blessing me with several teachers who have helped me walk the Spiritual path and seek the Truth in me.

The most recent of them is my beloved Brother Manatita. A real Lantern Carrier who with the wisdom of his writings made me understand how much Light he can offer to someone who seeks the way of Truth.

Therefore, when he accepted to give me an interview with "open" questions on Inner Philosophy, I thought it was a tremendous gift, and so it finally proved, since gave me the ability to clarify various "blurry" points in my knowledge and to deepen my understanding to even more. The most important thing is that I was able to take delight in his word, which is full of Love and Light, and makes me so excited.

I will share this discussion with you, apparently in parts, since it is quite large. I hope it will also be to you the gift of Light that was for me.

The book of Manatita, which is mentioned in the discussion, is "My Guru Sri Chinmoy: Life and Teachings" and is available on Amazon. Information about him can be found in this book or on his HubPages profile.

A Spiritual Adventure

Ioannis: Someone who reads your poems and texts can perceive the Love you want to offer to the world. This, usually, is a characteristic of someone who is happy and therefore wants to share happiness. So, I want to start this discussion at this point. Are you happy? Looking back to your life do you believe it was a happy life or is a life which evolved into a happy one?

Manatita: My life, your life … everyone’s life is in the process of evolution. We are transcending ourselves in the outer world and God also, is transcending Itself in the inner world. It is a process of constant movement in God’s cosmic game, in this field of Lila (Divine Game) and also the self-transcending Beyond.

I was brought up in Christianity and was very devout as a child, even more than my parents. My mother gave me much freedom to visit the evangelists and I took the opportunity to follow them, to their large gathering in tents, marquees and churches throughout the country. You might say that my Heart was on fire for God and Jesus.

So it all started from my childhood and yes, I was as happy, but perhaps even kinder, more self-giving than the everyday kid. Compliments of mom, perhaps. In the first Chapter of my book, I highlight the usual activities that kids did in my time and perhaps we were blessed with less opportunities, but a simpler life.

Moving forward to the age of 30, when I became a Disciple of Sri Chinmoy, I was able to see the common thread of my past and its relationship to the present. One does experience certain pendulums in life, but by and large, my life has been a joyful one. There is a special kind of inner satisfaction that comes with an intense faith in Something Higher … an unwavering certainty of the presence of God.

Re-incarnation helps tremendously. When one knows that this is not the first life … that the soul is immortal … that there is nothing to fear, then there is abundant joy, even in the setbacks along the way. Perfection is a different thing, obviously, but there is a tremendous inner fulfillment in knowing that one has found his/her station in life, and is doing the right thing. Actually, that is the correct way – to live in the Heart, like the child does.

As regards happiness, most happiness is transitory in everyday life. Happiness, more correctly, is Love bubbling forth into the newness and fullness of life. But yes, I’m contented and see everything through the Inner Pilot (God) of the Guru that strengthens me.

Ioannis: Re-incarnation! You really struck a chord here! This knowledge has changed me too, and I want to talk about that a little more. At first, I read in your book:

"I remember always wanting to go to school, to do good, to help, and to be cheerful."

And you said above that as a child your Heart was on fire for God and Jesus. I ask, do you believe all this came as a result of your previous lives?

Manatita: Yes, most certainly! Re-incarnation explains so much! Why is a child of three composing and playing the violin? Again, all the God-men I respect including my own teacher, speaks of it with authority. Sri Chinmoy teaches that it is difficult to find a master of his calibre, without having done some work before.

Reincarnation exists for the growth and development of the soul, which is immortal. The Bhagavad Gita, a book revered in India, is much clearer on this:

“Weapons cannot cleave the soul. Fire cannot burn the soul. Water cannot drench the soul. Wind cannot dry the Soul.”

We have many desires and we cannot fulfill them all in one lifetime. God is ever-compassionate and allows us to fulfill our needs. Bear in mind that Yoga Philosophy (Spirituality), sees you as a soul, manifesting in a temple, vehicle or instrument. You are not a body, but a soul.

The body needs the soul for its realization; the soul needs the body for its manifestation … to adore, worship or glorify the Divine. The Heart is the shrine and the soul is the deity inside the shrine.

Death and life are like two rooms. When we are tired, we take rest in the bedroom (death) and at other times we are in our living room (life)

“Death is not the end

Death can never be the end.

Death is the road.

Life is the traveller.

The Soul is the Guide …”

“Our mind thinks of death.

Our heart thinks of life

Our soul thinks of Immortality” –Sri Chinmoy

Reincarnation is the process of casting out our worn-out bodies, and entering into a new form, mostly human, for manifestation. We are ever-evolving and it is very unusual for the soul to go backwards. Again, it stores and remembers our past memories.

Source

Ioannis: I loved your metaphor with the bedroom and the living room! It's both simple, and clarifying! But there is my next question:

Why cannot Christianity accept reincarnation?

In discussions, I had with some Christian theologians; they had expressed the opinion that it is a very dangerous idea because belief in reincarnation may affect one’s understanding of morality and motivation for moral living. Someone could think:

"Ok! I have many lives to live, so I'll do whatever I like in this one, without moral limits, I will enjoy every passion and lust, and I'll become a better person in a next life."

What is your answer to this point of view?

Manatita: I was extremely devout as a child and remember much of the Bible. In the same way, I have been with Guruji for 36 years and remember a lot of his writings. Sometimes, depending on the context in which I’m speaking, it is necessary to quote and at other times, I simply paraphrase. Long way of telling you that the bedroom and living room metaphors are not mines but Guruji’s.

Sri Chinmoy is unique and unparalleled, in my experience, when it comes to the use of spiritual language and volume. He even surpasses Rumi, one of my favourites and Rumi wrote roughly 60,000 poems!

Reincarnation is there in the Christian scriptures, but it’s not clear. Some even thought that Christ was an incarnation of Elias. Again, there are those who say that scriptures have been altered and of course there is the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus, The Christ. Quite different! We see this in ordinary translations today. Two people, speaking the same language, translate something and come up with varying meanings.

Why does this happen? Because there is a scholarly way and then there is the way of the Heart. Scriptures teach us that Truth has been revealed to babes and the illiterate and hidden from the intellect. One must be born again! That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit, as was said by the Christ.

Re-birth is a sudden illumination in the inner flowering of the Heart, the Spiritual Heart. This happens in different ways: Via listening to a lecture, prayer, the grace of a Master or through reading a book, as happened to me at the age of thirty. I believe that your inner flowering is already in progress, otherwise you would not have found me and we would not be doing this right now.

Now the word ‘heaven’ has been translated as ‘sky’ by some and even as a child I remember that we all looked to the sky for God. The Christ teaches us, that the Kingdom of Heaven is within. He didn’t say above. The word ‘Heart’ is pretty vague and unless we enter the mystical life, we do not realize that we are Spirit beings with a very powerful spark called the Soul literally inside us.

So ignorance is another reason why some reject reincarnation. There is a veil in the mind and Hearts of many humans and unless we get the necessary inner experience, we are not ready for progress. So the books are not really at fault, but we humans are. God Himself has designed it this way.

In answer to your last two lines, Reincarnation does not exist without the Law of Karma. They go together. As a man soweth, so shall he reap. What goes round will come round. This is an inescapable law of the Cosmos. All actions will produce reactions; all causes will produce effects. This is the law of Karma in a nutshell.

The farmer tills the soil, waits for the rain, gives the right manure and six months later gets a bumper harvest, but the one who is less dutiful, will not do so well. I have to tell you though, that we humans, both from East and West, still continue in our ignorance. Christianity has introduced the concept of hell fire and damnation to induce fear and the Seers of the East Karma, yet we still wander lost in ignorance, paying little heed.

One can say that it’s the play of forces … that God has designed it this way and when the God Hour strikes, humans change, not before. I was thirty before I became fully conscious of my own immortality … before I knew that I was a soul and not a body … a divine being having a human experience and not the other way around.

Now when I started on Hub Pages 8 years ago, I said the same thing but started gently. Later, I became bolder, firmer, as I have realized that many Hubbers' are much further along the road. So we are growing, Bro. In a spiral, perhaps, but nothing stays the same.

I see hope and vision in everything! Even in what Donald Trump and young Kim are doing. On one level, it is so beautiful! So promising for mankind! Yet you will find many skeptics …those who say yes, but … life has always been like that.

Source

So those who are fatalists, like in the last two lines of your question, are unconscious of Karma, but are largely a product of ignorance (limitations, imperfections, bondage, and negative tendencies) all which may be a product of their God-given packages right now.

The East is fully conscious of Karma, but the average person is caught in the meshes of Maya (illusion –we take for real or permanent the phenomenal, which is really the body of a Higher plan), as much as those in the West.

Thank you, my dear "daughter", Li-Jen. I love my name too! Ha! Ha! Ioannis is the Greek form of John or the Celtic Sean - I love Ireland, and I know that I have lived there in a past life, that's why I use it - and it comes from the Hebrew name Yohanan that means "Graced by God".

I am glad to know that you liked our discussion and I wish to be helpful to you.

Though the Orthodox Christian Church does not accept past lives and Karma, there are a lot of Greek Christian people who believe in those, especially young people.

Much Love to you and your family.

Hey Ioannis. I actually like this name. :) Interesting article and I see that you have more later. You and Manatita are both open people. I am also curious to know whether Christians accept past lives and karma. So kind of you to share yours and Manatita's knowledge. Thanks!

Well Ioannis, if you and your friends won’t answer my questions, although we both know “I can’t” means “I can’t face the truth because it may wreck my love fest fantasy.” There is nothing I can say that matters to you which is a sign that you have been brainwashed. Another sign is love bombing which seems to be a sweet gesture. But it is not! It is one method of brainwashing when someone tries to overwhelm you with loads of affection you may suspect his or her intentions. I’ve been exposed to brainwashed people and they behaved uncannily like you, “my dear brother”

My dear Brother, Chris, I think that you are a real Christopher!

Christo: has its root to the Greek word "Χριστός" that is "Anointed" or "Christ."

pher: has its root to the Greek word "φέρω" that is "bear."

      Christopher: Christ-bearer!

You are a great Heart and Mind as I had realized through your writings!

I am so glad to know that you have studied Greek! Is an honor to me, because you are a great writer.

So a small gift to you:

      Είσαι αδελφός μου στην Αγάπη

Your comment is precious to me! Thank you!

My dear Brother, Tsadjatko, thank you for sharing your Truth. Now our visitors are able to read Manatita's wisdom and your Truth, and they can decide what is better for them. I wish your Truth to help many people and I will be happy to know that even in this strange way I have become a medium for this.

I am an ignorant, a liar and a deceiver as you said, and if this is your opinion for me don't continue this conversation because I can't - and I declare it to all readers - answer your questions. You have debunked me. Therefore I will not answer to any other comment of yours, there is no meaning, but I will continue to send you my Love and my best wishes!

      God Bless you!

      Sean

PS: Of course you are free to write any comment, but if you refer to other visitors with disrespect, I will ban your comment.

It was satisfying that, after reading your quote in Greek, I knew the reference even before reading your translation. It has been many years since I studied Greek, but much of it is still tucked away in my brain.

Sean, for my part, I have no disagreement with you or mantita. I have a lack of understanding. The temptation for some, even in this thread, is to react with fear and rejection to what is not understood. I choose to consider these things and ponder them, even meditate on them.

    • tsadjatko profile image

You know Ioannis if you can't answer my questions I guess there is no reason to continue this conversation.

      "My Jesus is you" ?

I'm sorry but you have no clue who Jesus is, if you bothered to read my hub page you would know who Jesus is. Anyone who proclaims Jesus is anything or anyone other than the Jesus we know from scripture, the Word of God, is deceived and if teaching others of another Jesus, he is a deceiver.

I am sure you will not receive what is said here

      https://worldchallenge.org/newsletter/1991/another...

but for others who may be reading these comments what is presented in that link is the truth about Jesus

What Ioannius says his Jesus is to him is self delusion.

"Jesus has saved my life many years before. He is my Brother, my Beloved, my Master, my friend. I speak to Him every day, and I feel Him by my side every moment. He has no problem when I Love all the people from all religions, and when I study and seek the Divine in me since I walk the path of Love, any path. As I understand Jesus wants all of us to experience Love, Oneness and God-realization, no matter the path we choose."

There is only one path, Jesus said it and you can't accept thata because it is the truth and all your delusion is a lie.

Any disciple of Christ when asked who Jesus is would say first and foremost he is the only begotten Son of God who gave his life as a sacrifice for my sins, that I may be saved from the punishment of my sins and live for eternity with God. Without acceptance of what Jesus did for me I can not enter Heaven and that is scriptural, I don';t care what language you read. He is much more than that but without that there is no Gospel. Jesus commends the Apostle Peter’s confession of Him as “the Messiah, the Son of the Living God” (Matthew 16:16), because Jesus knew that who He is – and could be to us – has the power to change our lives. Jesus is so unique because two worlds collide in him: Heaven and Earth, the Divine and the human.

But Ioannius doesn't want you to think you need a savior from your sin because if Jesus is who he says he is Ioannis has to admit there can't be a doctrine of reincarnation. Ioannis doesn't worship Christ, he worships a "master" of false doctrine of reincarnation and is lying about anything that refutes that possibility. Yes he uses the word master because then any Jesus can be a master.

"I KNOW that I have lived before because, miraculously, proofs have been given to me. This is not a faith to me, is knowledge."

How do you know? You know nothing and as I have already pointed out to believe that, to accept reincarnation means you have never have really thought through its implications for other aspects of Christian faith. What should be recognized, however, is that one cannot claim to believe in reincarnation without compromising key tenets of Christian faith, most notably the atoning role of Jesus’ life and death, the critical role of grace and forgiveness, and the prospect of eternity with our present embodied spirits resurrected, transformed and glorified.

The proof that you are embracing delusions is in the fact that you can't, don't even try to refute scriptural truths from the Word of God like that one and can't answer my questions like where in the Greek is your translation of what Jesus said. Show me - you can't because you just made that up.

Now I am certain Ioannis will claim I am unloving to disrespect his Odyssey when the truth is his odyssey is nothing but an assault on the Word of God, an odyssey based on lies, feelings and perversion of scripture and as a child of God these things above all demand disrespect lest I trivialize the Gospel of Jesus.

Jesus said to his disciples: This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

      But he also said,

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.…

that's who Jesus is and if his path of sacrifice is only one path of many then why did he have to die? Answer that question - I know you won't because you can't. The only answer is he didn't have to die and so salvation through Jesus Christ is a farse, yeah lets choose reincarnation.

My dear Brother, Tsadjatko, you ask me, who is my Jesus!

My Jesus is you, are my young students who ask for help because they are afraid to live in a world of hate, is the refugee woman from Syria with her baby who I have hosted for some days, is every one of us! Is my Brother who gave his life for us on the Cross, and the one who we are killing every day in the same Cross. Is every kid that is dying of hunger because we, civilized people, have stolen the wealth of its country.

Is the Master that had told His disciples about reincarnation and about the Christ who lives in every one of us, but some people decided to leave these "information" out of the Book. Fortunately, there are all written, even though are forbidden and called Apocrypha! Is the Jesus who saved my life many years before and lives within me since then.

My Brother, I don't want to convince you that I am right and you are wrong. I don't need to have right. There many ways to study the Holy Scriptures. You can read them, or you can live them. I choose the second, and I am happy. I have found Love in all religions, and my religion is Love. Again, I don't claim the Knowledge and the Right! I just have my beliefs, and I am trying to live with them!

I don't ask you to follow me or to agree with me. If you think that what I write is wrong or dangerous, report me to HubPage editors and let them decide.

Until then you are free and welcome to comment whatever you want about me, but please be polite with the other visitors.

      Ioannis,

I am not surprised that I ask you one question, just who is your Jesus and rather than answer that question you make my screen name, the intro to my hubpage ( which if you took the time to read past the intro you would find, not my opinion about who Jesus and his disciples are but the truth about them and the Gospel of Christ which has nothing whatsoever to do with the fantasy Jesus you have created) the first topic of your answer.

So you are saying the Greek isn’t translated:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

But it should be ”the Christ in every one of us, not Himself? ”

I just received notification of part three of this discussion. When I understood what it was about, I made my way back here to part one. I am very interested in what you are discussing with our friend, manatita. Much of it goes against how i was raised. I spent four years studying the Bible from a certain perspective and then more years in Christian ministry. My thinking then was along the lines of one of your commenters in this hub. So with that background, I am reading with interest the things you and manatita discuss. Thank you for your insightful questions and, as always, I value the words of our mutual friend. I'll move on now to part two.

My dear friend, Tsadjatko, thank you for reading and the comments. I want you to know that I disagree with your opinion and the way you write to my "guests" in my "home", but I Love you because I know that every one of us is walking his own path and diversity is one great gift of the Supreme! Through diversity, He is able to experience every possible aspect through us! Think of a garden which has only one kind of flowers; it is not so beautiful!

I read in your hub: "Before going any further I think it would be advisable for one, no matter your beliefs, to open your mind up to the material presented in the video below..."

Wise! Why don't you follow your encouragement?

You use a Native American name - Tsadjatko -of the proud Quinault Tribe and the sacred symbol of Turtle of the Delaware tribes! A bit of confusion?

Anyway, you must know that Native Americans Believed in reincarnation.

I want to give you some information:

      - As I am a Greek who have learnt to read Ancient Greek, I have studied the Bible and the Apocrypha in the original text, and you have to know that there are many things missed in the translation.

      - When Jesus said:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

He meant the Christ in every one of us, not Himself.

      - I KNOW that I have lived before because, miraculously, proofs have been given to me. This is not a faith to me, is knowledge.

      - Jesus has saved my life many years before. He is my Brother, my Beloved, my Master, my friend. I speak to Him every day, and I feel Him by my side every moment. I ask you to respect my Odyssey as I respect yours.

      God Bless you!

Jesus? You mean your idea of Jesus. Who is your Jesus? Can you tell me explicitly who he is because I can show you explicitly who God says he is. Really, is it asking too much for you to enlighten me? Or is it that you don’t have a clue who the real Jesus is?

Follow you? I’m not following you, I asked you a question which you have totally ignored or can't come up with a logical answer.

” No one has to justify their spiritual journey”? That’s an odd statement coming from someone who gives credit to what Jesus said. Jesus also said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Sounds to me like he is telling you you have to justify your spirituality to him or you will be lost and without God. No one means NO ONE.

On the other hand if you believe you can take what you like from scripture and disregard the rest, you have no spirituality at all but a self made fantasy. That is the type of thing that has encouraged wars, disagreements, and conflicts.

      Sincerely,

      Tim

Of course, those texts are mostly digitized and available on the internet. Fortunately, you can find those texts or replicas in your libraries. Check out some links regarding the Apocrypha.

No one has to justify their spiritual journey. Your relationship with God is your own. Instead of questioning another's understanding of the Holy Texts, perhaps exploration should be encouraged here.

This is the type of thing that has encouraged wars, disagreements, and conflicts.

However, Christ encourages us to "love," His greatest commandment.

Through love, understanding occurs and questioning ceases. With this, I encourage you to try to understand, conduct research, and grow in your spiritual journeys.

      May your research prove productive.

I've noticed Eric you and Sadjako have both chosen to follow me on this site. Much appreciated. However, you don't have to do that. Yet, I have not chosen to follow you for some reason.

      Enjoy your research.

The Bible says Christians are to be disciples of Christ, not of any guru.

Many people in the Christian tradition who more or less accept reincarnation may never have really thought through its implications for other aspects of their faith.

A true understanding of Christianity and Christ, of the Bible, rules out any possibility of a doctrine of reincarnation. Such notions are incompatible with Christianity and are frankly straight from the pit of hell, and if you choose to be a disciple of reincarnation when you have your reckoning with death you will regret deeply that you were so deceived.

I saved the best for last, Ioannis and Manatita. It's interesting, Manatita, I've always said we are souls having a human "experience," and Manatita summarized it in a beautiful way.

I remember reading how much text were taken out of the Bible because it was not deemed inspired or could not be authenticated. I sought out and read all of those texts for my spiritual education and growth.

I had a friend who followed the Hindu faith, and I learned a lot about karma. The Baha'i faith talk about the "progression of revelations," and how our souls continually grow. I've always felt the concept of Hell is complete separation from God, an "inferno of coldness," so frigid that it burns in this life and the afterlife.

I studied the Zorasterian texts, too, where they say the soul is composed of three parts, one of which remembers. But when we pass, it is wiped clean.

When I later returned to studying and understanding the Gospels, I found an amazing message I had continuously missed.

I also had a Chinese friend who grew up with Taoism, and haven't you wondered why the Chinese never spread out over the globe over the centuries? They follow a negative Golden Rule, "Do not do to others what you would not want done to you."

This is important because it encourages thoughtfulness and self-awareness; the Golden Rule can encourage us to think: "I know what's best for you." That can be a source of conflict if mishandled.

Sean and Manatita: Superb interview. This interview makes me feel that I did follow the correct path in my youth and now I can be a source of encouragement to those I serve lovingly.

God doesn't make mistakes. Yes, He wanted me to read this before I closed my eyes tonight.

      Brothers of love,

      Thank you.

      Sincerely,

      Tim

I don't know about the Soul, my brother Eric, but you are just a pleasure! As I've said before you are my favorite Sacred Crazy Man! A free spirit! Thank you for being in the Circle.

      Gratitude!

The issue of reincarnation. Give yourself a laugh and a break and start off with the root “carnation”. The only part that is not fun is they can be poisonous to dogs and babies. But note we say “root”. Which is also funny.

Then we move on to “incarnation”. There is now just too many groups doing too much push as to what this is.

But we have slipped in and brewed some of that “to die for” Kenyan coffee from Manatita’s stash. Which one of Linda’s breakfast recipes for breakfast is more serious than “reincarnation”.

So Manatita and Loannis and I and a few other close friends just do the test at the kitchen table overlooking the fine African Savanna. “Hey Eric are you here or out there?” “Sorry, but both”.

The soul captured in a body is not a soul. The body captured by a soul is alive. The soul does not need a host or incarnation, it is just a pleasure.

(I am blessed to such friends to talk with and not be all panicky about offense)

The Gratitude is mine, my Brother and teacher, Manatita! Is mine as an instrument which is grateful to the master player who performs his music with Love and makes people happy, using this instrument!

This discussion is full of the Light of your Heart and the wisdom you have obtained with your Spiritual Life of Service, and with my Love for the Truth and Knowledge. I know that you are an instrument too, as a master player should be! An instrument of His Grace! We play our parts, and my best reward is this part for now.

I am happy to be a participant in a discussion like this because I know there are many people out there who wanted to ask the same questions, young people who are confused by the "noise" of the modern life.

I am glad to see that this is an ongoing discussion, even through the "humble" comments. You have perfectly explained the term of Boddhisatva in one comment! Thank you!

I know that you are just a tiny droplet in this huge ocean of the unknown, but for me and many others, this droplet makes a considerable work in this ocean.

      Much Love and Gratitude!

      Sean

PS: I can't disagree with my master, he always had a strange way to say things, symbolic and metaphorical, but he had never lied to me...

My Brother, Venkatachari, thank you so much for your kind words and your additional information about Karma. I'll search a little more about Shani Devata because I have read stories about his evil influence only.

I think that you'll enjoy the rest of Brother Manatita's wisdom unfolding...

      Namaste!

Gratitude ... gratitude ... gratitude, my Brother Ioannis. You are practically a disciple of Sri Chinmoy. You do our Path, the Spiritual life; the Life of Yoga Philosophy a super-excellent service.

This reads like a manual for spiritual fulfillment and the beauty of your Heart shows in immense measure.

I love that you pay attention to Rumi and yes, I'm familiar with this sublime piece of his. Very direct and to the point yet not harsh. Who is this ancient Indian man?

Sahadeva is one of the prominent Disciple musicians on Sri Chinmoy's Path and is in my London Centre. His inspirational Orchestra does Guruji's song a great service to mankind.

I like the picture that you chose of me. I was happy then, now I'm ... don't know, Bro. Ha ha. Tease ... tease. My Pranams to you for this work of beauty, of Light and Love. Higher blessings.

      Shalom!

Before I comment on your lofty Hub for aspiring seekers, I wish to repeat that I try to serve. I am a Disciple of Sri Chinmoy and a beginner seeker. I always say this. Vibhutis and Mahatmas are great and powerful souls. As for Boddhisatvas, they are Saviours, direct incarnations of God. Sri Chinmoy has only mentioned about seven or eight.

In chronological order they are Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha, Lord Christ, Lord Chaitanya, Bhagaban (Lord) Ramakrishna and Sri Aurobindo. There are some very powerful figures we know and love as disciples, as Sri Chinmoy speaks of them. They are all God-realised Souls and Great spiritual Masters or Lion Yogis.

Sri Ramana Marharshi, Bhagwan Trailanga Swami and a few more. As to modern Realised souls, Guruji used to say that they can be counted on the fingers. They are that few.

A Boddhisatva is a Saviour. He forgoes the bliss of the Infinite, to return here to serve mankind, in harmony with the Will of the Supreme. He is God's direct Advocate and that's why we sometimes say that there is no difference. He has no will of His own.

That is to say, Christ is God and God is Christ. Not the man Jesus, but the Power that dwells in Him and has become one with the physical form. Enough for now. I am just a tiny droplet in this huge ocean of the unknown. Shalom!

Thanks all you guys for some great comments. Yes, Karma is a very complex subject. I have included some great pieces for clarification, but they will come later. We will change tact a little. I don't want it too heavy.

Ioannis, I love your Lantern Carrier up top. Great insight and a rather cute Chinese soul, I believe. Could be Thai/Malasian. Peace!

A very beautiful discussion here. Karma and Incarnation are two great topics that can't be digested so easily. Your interview with our spiritual brother Manatita explained this in an awesome manner.

I am presently viewing one wonderful TV serial on Shani Devata, for the last 7 or 8 months, who is the presiding deity for Karma. It very clearly explains this circle of Karma and its results.

Thanks for bringing up this inspiring interview. Waiting for the next episode.

My dear Sister, Chitrangada, I am so glad you've liked this experience which was a blessing for me! I thank God for this unique chance to enjoy the Light of such a great Soul as my Brother Manatita is. He was always ready and willing to "feed" my need for understanding though he was offering at the same time his Love and power to many great aims! He was patient with my ignorance, and he always had the right answer to enlighten my Soul. He is a man of Love, and I am happy to have him in my life because as he says, I deserve it. What can I say? God is merciful!

This is an ongoing adventure. We all have to learn a lot from Manatita. You know in a dream, a few nights ago, I saw my beloved master saying to me:

" Now you know what a Bodhisattva is..."

And yes now I think I know!

Thank you for your presence here, my dear Sister,

      is significant to me.

      Om Shanti!

My dear brother, Eric, thank you for your kind words! I would love to see your substantial comments. This is the reason for this interview, to seek for answers. It is an open discussion! Both angels are useful if you can hear with a clear Heart.

      I always cherish your feedback!

What a wonderful, spiritual and enlightening experience!

May I thank both Manatita and Sean Dragon, for this absorbing conversation. It was absolutely an insightful and pleasant read. The questions asked are so thoughtful and the answers reflect Manatita’s deep understanding of the creator and his creation. The principles of Karma, recarnation are well explained.

Looking forward to your next interesting discussion!

Appreciations and thanks to both of you.

Wonderful. I am glad I caught this. Two very fine men. That devil on my right shoulder and angel on my left debated whether or not to make substance comments.

I have studied and meditated through Sri Chimnoy and have gained therefrom.

With Karma and reincarnation we diverge. Perhaps only in small ways.

      I look forward to more.
