A Heart unto Heaven: The Essence of His Presence

We need to know that desperate move of a divinely inclined soul draws the terrific and drastic act of God. The Scripture tells about Apostle Paul's hearty prayer and desire in Philippians 3:10 "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death​." The biblical records and happenings around us have shown that the connection between humanity and divinity brings about the inexplicable and the unfathomable.

How can we Experience Open Heaven?

- Prayer of faith: This is the kind of prayer Apostle Paul prayed in Philippians 3:10. Also, the prayer of Jabez who prayed vehemently for divine intervention in his life being battered by his mother's curse thinking that his birth has brought sorrow upon her. Jabez cried to God for help and heaven opened unto him according to 1 Chronicles 4:9-10.

- Intense praise and worship: The great manifestation of mighty and drastic move of God as a result of deep praise and worship we can find in the following scriptures: Acts 16:25, 2 Chronicles 20:21-24, Isaiah 38:1-10 & 1 Chronicles 4:10.

- A Holy Heart: Truly, a heart of holiness is the heart of God and an act of heaven. "To live holy is to see heaven". This was revealed by the Holy Spirit in Psalms 24:3-6 "Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah." We need to always live with understanding that holiness is the way and life of God (1 Peter 1:15-16, Hebrews 12:14).

- Desire to know God more and Addition to His Presence ( Philippians 3:10, Daniel 6:10-28, Daniel 11:32b).

Therefore, I implore you to only believe the God of heaven and you will see His glory. Also, seek God with your whole heart and shun any sinful deed that can hider you from accessing the heavenly glory made available through Jesus Christ, Who is the Way of Glory (John 14:6), and great shall be your testimony in Jesus' Name.
