Singing and composing hymns and other songs have been part of my life since my teenage days

Composer’s Foreword

I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I have come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.

The Tune of Hymn to Use

“There’s a place I love to tarry

When my soul is sad, oppressed

‘Tis alone with Christ my Saviour

Where He bids me “come and rest”.

Refrain/Chorus

Just to be alone with Jesus

Just to hear him softly

“Fear not though the world forsake you

“Lo I’m with you always”

CGS 519 # There’s a place I love to tarry @ Il est un lieu que j’aime tant

The Composed Song

1. Even when thine own very people

Walketh on to the promised land

And they wert alone in the w’lderness

Jehovah also is with them

Chorus/Refrain

And he opened the doors of heaven

And he pour out his blessings

Upon the head of all his children

For he even loves them

2. Within the w‘lderness e’en where

There is No food tha’ they can eat

Even there God meets wit’ all their needs

In plentiful he provides for them

Chorus/Refrain

3. Wherefore as God puts on the grass

That’s in the field even clothes

He’s also ready to even bless

All them that even loves him

Chorus/Refrain

4. Even all needs of His children

Very same he ‘ll supply all

Abundantly e’en in His Son

Even Christ Jesus the Lord

Chorus/Refrain

5. One thing that God e’en asketh for

It is even thine own faith

Faith like that of mustard seed

That God even asketh for

Chorus/Refrain

Farrah Young I want to in the STRONGEST POSSIBLE TERMS counsel that you return to Choir...Lol. I have also left Choir for long, but, occasionally when there is special programs we come together under the auspices of the old ones to compose and sing to the audience...It is one of the wonderful departments in a group globally.
