A Knowledge Of God

God is the creator of the universe, of the entire world.  Everything begins with God and ends with God.  The bible comes from God, which he inspired holy men to write, what he intended for us to know.  The bible is the first revelation of our God.

God is not an idea, a myth or a figment of the imagination, but he is a real being.  God dwells in heaven, with his Son Jesus Christ sitting at his right side.  God is eternal, and God will be to you whatever you want him to be.  If you want God to be your friend, then he’ll be a friend indeed, if you want him to be a provider, he will be a provider for you.  God is omnipotent, meaning, he is all powerful.  There is nothing God can’t do, if God can’t do it, then it just can’t be done.  Nothing is impossible with God, for our bible tells us in Matthew 19:26 that “with men this is impossible; but with God all things, are possible.  God is omniscient, meaning, he knows everything even your thoughts before you think them, there is nothing hidden from him, there is nothing he doesn’t understand.  God is infinite, meaning, there are no limitations on God, and he is infinite in power, wisdom, and knowledge.  Do you think that an architect is good at designing?  I’m here to tell you, that God is the architect of all architects, for he designed the entire universe, he made everything; he made man, the animals, plants, insects and everything that is tangible.  God causes the sun to rise in the east and to set in the west, he hung the moon and the stars in the sky, he makes the flowers bloom, he makes the grass grow green.  God is great and greatly to be praised.  I want you to read in your bible the book of Job 38:4-41, and this will show you how wonderful our God really is.

I want you to take note of what David said in the book of Psalms 100:3 “KJV” Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us and not we ourselves: we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.  I can’t even begin to tell you everything about God, because there is not enough paper to write on, that will sum him up.  We will never know everything about him, but that, that we do know, is wonderful, and beautiful.  If you don’t remember anything else in this writing, I want you to remember that the God of the universe is great and awesome.
