Chiara Corbella a beautiful young Catholic woman made a very big sacrifice, one could even say it was a Christ like sacrifice . But unlike Christ she was not nailed to a Cross but was giving a great cross to carry. In reading this true story you will see the real love this woman had for her God and its precious life that only God can give to a woman and mother.

Chiara and her husband Enrico were Pro-Life speakers throughout Italy and would also spread their message through their music they would play at these Pro-Life rallies. Chiara so wanted to be a mother but had lost two babies at birth because they were born with such birth defects that they died within moments of birth, their names were David and Maria.

But both Chiara and Enrico never stopped trying to have another baby and soon they had found that again Chiara was pregnant with a baby boy who was very healthy , but in finding that out the doctor also found that Chiara had a very aggressive form of cancer and would need treatment soon to fight this type of cancer. She was told that this treatment would harm if not kill her unborn baby. She told the doctor she would wait till her baby boy was born before any treatment for her cancer was done in order to protect this precious life growing within her.

When her beautiful baby boy was born and she and her husband named him Francisco then she began treatment for her cancer, but the doctor had told her that she had waited far too long and he had not much hope that this treatment would help her at all. She lost her eyesight in one eye sometime later and was also losing her battle with this form of cancer.

When her baby boy Francisco was a little more that 12 month old her health was really going downhill very quickly, Chiara wrote a letter to her baby boy Francisco, in a line from this letter she said to her baby boy that she would be going to heaven to care for his brother and sister David and Maria . She told Francisco “you stay here with dad I will pray for you”.

After one long and courageous battle for more than a year of fighting this cancer Chiara passed away one week after she wrote the letter to her baby boy Francisco. This beautiful woman and mother knew how important and precious this life inside her was that she was willing to give her own life to save her baby boy that she so wanted and loved .

So the next time you see Pro-Lifers in your town or city think of this beautiful woman and mother, and what she did and gave up to keep her baby safe and be born healthy . There are some who are ready to throw their babies away so quickly and easy, too bad they could not have thought a moment before they went and made a baby and took control over their sexuality and made better choices than they did, than they wouldn’t be throwing a baby’s life away has easy as they throw away the trash.
