The Fall of This Galaxy: The Gap Theory

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

² And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
For He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it stood fast. Psalm 33:6,9

The gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 contains Biblical information that explains how the earth became without form and void.
Creation begins in Genesis 1:1. This event was activated sonically by the Voice of God. Intelligence Spoken (Logos) created the earth. Scripturally it is outside the character of God to proactively create a world of nothingness. In the Bible, Isaiah's book states: "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it" Isaiah 55:11. The insertion of events found throughout the Bible when placed in sequence can define the existence of an old earth (millions of years old) and account for the Creationists' accounts of Adam emerging approximately 6000 years ago consistent with the human genealogy of Jesus dating back to God (Luke 3:38).

During this gap, a worldwide cataclysm resulting in an Ice Age can account for fossil finds of creatures that lived millions of years ago. Scientists ascertain through carbon dating that Anthropologist discoveries indicate the presence of life upon the earth 2.6 million years ago. Discoveries of fossiled herbivore vertebrate that still contained cud in jaw point to a sudden event causing their demise.
The different orders of a prehistoric man found by archeologist from the Stone Age may have walked upon the earth but are by no means our biological ancestors except in the sense of us inheriting their living space. The family of man today is a derivative of one source as evidenced in the work of Cheikh Anta Diop. Dr. Diop conclusively concludes that modern man came from a common ancestor. Many including yours truly believe that this common ancestor was the Adam of Biblical antiquity. The evolutionists for over a century have proclaimed the progressive development of humans because of ego. They made Darwin their hero and proclaimed that humans are the descendants of other life forms like fish, apes, amoebas, etc. When a new science was needed to explain away the truth of all having a common ancestor from the continent of Africa.

Lucifer’s brief insurrection led to his permanent dismemberment from heaven. In the Bible, Isaiah's book states: “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,[a] son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground You who weakened the nations" Isaiah 14:12.

As to affirm the state of mind of Lucifer in the Bible, the book of Ezekiel states: "Your heart became proud because of your beauty; For the sake of your splendor you corrupted your wisdom. So I threw you down to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings" Ezekiel 28:17.

As to the War in Heaven, the number of Angels that took sides with Satan and Michaels' role the Bible, in the book of Revelation states, "Behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and did cast them to the earth. ... And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him" Revelation 20: 3b-4a, 7-9.

As to these who merged to join Lucifer in his insurrection to God; in the Bible, the book of Jude states: "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day" Jude 6.

In the Bible, in the book of Genesis, the author writes, "Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field” (Gen 3:1).
It becomes interesting to ponder; Why did God allow Satan to inhabit a snake? Lucifer’s former glory became corrupt, and Satan took on the attributes of a "dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan" Revelation 20:2. Lucifer's harmonic greatness reduced to a hiss or serpent meaning the same from same Hebrew word nachash. The trauma of man's fall as result of Eve being deceived by a snake reflected in the serpent's sentencing by God. "Thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eats all the days of thy life. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. " Genesis 3:14-15.

Snakes slither upon their bellies on scales breathing in dust and placing natural fear in people. The interaction that led to the fall of man directly made humans and snakes natural enemies. What makes these natural predators dangerous are their ability to remain well concealed to the person standing upright.
