ARE YOU GOING TO HELL?
A friend told me that she finally decided to stop believing God. She said she came to realize there is no God. I was shocked! I asked her if she's happy with her belief and she said she is because she has no religion and no God either. She said she does not need to bother in thinking about God and the proofs of his existence.
As I assessed the life of my friend who turned Atheist, I saw the truth that she is not really happy.. Her eyes could not lie. There is inexplicable sadness deep within her. Her eyes are the windows that showed her confused and blinded heart. I was bothered by her unbelief for she is my friend. I know she is in the most dangerous condition because this unbelief will lead her to hell.
She certainly has no place in heaven because she does not have faith in God. Her unbelief is equal to the destruction of her very soul. To her, life is merely temporary existence here on earth and after which, she will die, her body will decay and go back to dust and that's it. She could do just about anything that pleases her for as long as she is happy.
To her, God does not exist. She does not believe that after death there is something more. I am so sorry for this friend of mine because I know and I believe what the Bible says that it is appointed unto man once to to die and after this the judgment. Surely, this friend of mine will face a horrible judgment for her refusal to believe God. And for this I could not help but feel terribly sorry for her.
A deeper assessment of her condition led me to believe that she does not really believe there is no God. I believe she knows deep within her heart there is an Almighty one. I know that each time she would look around and see the heaven and the sun or the moon and the stars above she could not hide the fact that there is one Supreme Being who created all these. My friend is just trying to deceive herself.
I am so sorry for this friend of mine for she does not have the glorious hope that someday when she died, she could enter heaven and be with God, and all the saints and angels forevermore. This is the most miserable condition one could ever have!. Although my friend is saying she is happy I don't think she could be forever happy in that situation. She should rather seek for joy which is something only a Christian could have.
My friend is hopeless about the life that lies far and beyond. Certainly, there is no joy in her heart because she does not have a Savior. There is no joy greater than the joy of having Jesus in one's life. What a great loss for someone like her who deny the existence of God, the only God whose unsurpassed love for everyone led Him to send His only son Jesus to this world.
The Savior Jesus who left the glory of heaven to suffer and die so that He could save you and me from the doom of Hell. There is no greater joy than knowing that Jesus has already prepared a place for me and for every true Christian in heaven so that we need not fear death anymore. We have the glorious hope that someday soon we will join our Savior Jesus in Heaven,
I am so sad for my friend. She needs Jesus and I pray she will give way to Him. How about you Atheists, are you aware that the worst is in store for you if you keep denying the existence of God? Are you prepared to go to Hell at the end of your earthly life? There is still hope for you. I pray that your heart will find a way to open the door to Jesus who keeps knocking. He is the only way by which you could be saved.
