Why do you thing we have such high suicide rates in the world today? How about drug abuse? Does it take a rocket scientist to understand why so many people suffer from crushing debt? The answer to all of these lies in one word: Commercialism. It is an evil disease that is destroying live, families, cultures and many countries. Why do you have to have the latest fashion or newest computer games? Look at Japan and Korea. The home of all things electric. Computer games and robots? Why do they have the highest suicide rates in the world? Is it because they worship dead toys? Can the newest mobile love you? After playing with the latest toy for a while aren’t you bored and left with an empty feeling? How do you fill it? By buying more toys on your credit card which you cannot afford? What a pitiful life.
Why not instead concentrate on what is the truest most beautiful and fulfilling love of all? The love of Jesus. When you give your life to Him, not only will He supply all your physical needs, but the incredible, fantasic love He offers will enrapture your entire soul. You will find not only peace and contentment, but purpose and meaning in life. You will experience exhilarating joy found no where else.
Since giving my life to Jesus it has been filled with more joy than could ever been imagined. Nothing compares to it. Even in the toughest of times it is so comforting to know I have a loving, caring King who will always take care of me. Oh what a joy I have in Jesus.
Prayer: Jehovah El Shaddai (The God who is Suffient for All the needs of His people) thank You for always lovingly taking care of all my needs and filling my heart with overflowing joy from your love. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
