An Interlude
It was one particular Christmas season when the Lord made a beautiful interlude in my life. Today after 25 years, the memories of that christmas season are still very much alive in my heart. It was indeed my most beauitiful experience in life. This year I once again reminiscence its beautiful memories through this poem.
An Interlude
I am busy building castles in the sand
Reaching out for my fancy dreams
I have big dreams for myself
To be a great somebody someday
To earn big bucks of money
To pamper myself with nice, fancy things
I am on my way for reaching that star
When You made an interlude into my life
Your Word indeed pierced the darkness of my heart
Crushed that great pride inside of me
You made me realized how proud I had been
To seek the best for me and leave You behind
Such Interlude I will always be thankful for
For it made me truly realized
The depth of my carnality and depravity
The height of my vanity and folly
The great distance I have wandered away
From your ways and righteousness
Such Interlude I will always grateful for
For it led me to your eternal Kingdom
Made me feel that I am really special
Made me truly blessed and happy
Made me truly content and peaceful
Filled my life with joy and glory.
May your Christmas this year be filled with joy and glory.
