An Unforgetable Christmas
An Unforgetable Christmas
I can never forget as long as I live
That one particular Christmas of 1991
A Christmas that is truly different from the rest
It is not a prosperous Christmas
Its is not a romantic Christmas
It is not a gift-packed Christmas
It is a Christmas devoid of material things
It is a Christmas devoid of romance
It is indeed the most humbling Christmas ever
When I fully realized my utter depravity
It is one Christmas I could sense deeply
The revelation of God’s love in my life
That I had been away from Him for so long
And this Christmas the prodigal daughter has come home
What a great joy, joy unspeakable follows
I cannot fully explain it, I cannot fully describe it
All my hurts and hatred were gone then, including all my selfish ambitions
A great love overflows from my heart for people around me
I could sense deeply how much I am greatly loved by God
And knowing such love of God, it makes my life complete
Inspite of all my broken dreams and broken hearts
As long as I live this particular Christmas will remain in my memories
For it is one Christmas when God became REAL in my life.
