Do I Really Believe Man will become like God?

Well that’s a good question; actually we are created in God’s image and likeness, and if we believe in the bible that is something we must accept.

. Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: ………….. Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Apart from Creating us in is image we must note that he Bless us.Gen 1:28 And God blessed them………….

In the article in question “Man Will Become Like God” I used the symbol of married rings that symbolizes a coming together in an intimate way.

Genesis 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Genesis 2:24 therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

We see here two becoming one flesh in one of the most bonding manner, bone of my bones, flesh of my flesh.

Jesus said my father and I are one; Some Christians believe exactly what Jesus said, while some take this and say that Jesus was implying that he is the father.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

John 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Jesus at no time claimed to be the father, many so called Christian are trying to fame Him, but the scripture can’t be broken such as the following text from Jesus’ mount.

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

A father and son shares the same "DNA” which is the king of molecules" same surname and other features.Jesus shares his father’s spirit, mind, powers, desires, name, and glory just to mention.

Phi 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: ,Jesus Christ came to redeem mankind to God the father.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Jesus prays to His father on our behalf. John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Speaking of Jesus we are told Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. The many brethren here seem to apply to the faithful followers of Christ who will enter into God’s kingdom.

1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

The bible affirm the fact that yes we shall be like Jesus Christ. If Jesus is like unto a car then we will also be like a car. It is then natural for me to say, we shall be like GOD because yes I do believe the bible when it says Jesus is the Son of God and He is in the images of GOD.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

Even in the flesh saints manifest the power of God, and God in man. Act 5: 1-4 please read it with understanding, what remains now is our change.

The change From mortal to immortally; words of a song often time sung into many churches, another step into God’s Glory. So was Jesus resurrected, so will the saints of God.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Job is waiting for his change to come, what change?

1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Phi 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Yes my friend I do believe that man will become like God. We should be far on our way developing God’s Character in us, bearing those spiritual fruits, and walking by faith.

What an awesome destiny God have in store for man.
