Are Christians In America Able To Maintain Their Faith During The Coming Persecution?

Every now and then, I get caught up in the not too subtle slings and arrows targeted at those of us who are called Christians - especially Traditional Christians - and forgetting that this subtle and the lethal persecution of Christians to come was predicted by the very Christ in the Gospel of Matthew. I often feel guilty of what could be tantamount to my seemingly minor complaints on how Christians are being treated now in the United States compare to what the Apostle Paul went through, including his martyrdom. I am also aware of the lethal persecution of Christians that are located in the mostly Muslim’s 10-40 Window and pondering if modern Christians in America and the West, in general, are going to be able to face the coming painful persecution and maintain their Faith in Christ Jesus?

Look at the tenets many Christians now believe or not believe in, abandoning many of the core codified, Traditional Christian values, so as to ‘fit in’ with the secular crowd. This ‘secular fitting in’ is no different than the peer pressure that many of us went through in high-school… only that peer pressure in high school mostly meant not hanging out with the popular kids, while this peer pressure on some Christians means not to be called old fashion or a hater. Christians who do not support gay marriage are called haters, among other pejorative names, if these Christian dare to come out against gay marriage. So pervasive is this thinking that same sex marriage is morally ok that many Christians have gone a whoring after this perverted doctrine… fulfilling the Bible’s prophesies in the Four Gospels (Matthew 7:15, among others) and in some of the Apostle Paul’s epistles (1st Timothy 4, among others).

Now if many Christians are abandoning core settled values to fit in with the world - what do you think that many of us are going to do when they start lopping off Christian heads in America? The scary irony too is that many of us who are Christians now will be right there with the secular hoards calling for the heads of Christians. It must be noted that many a German, before onset of World War 2, would have sworn that they would not have partake in the slaughter of the Jews, be it through moral indolence or directly, but they too got caught up in the demonic Nazi propaganda; and so too that this anti Christian pending lethal propaganda is going to be worst because, as the Christ said, parents will turn their children in to the persecutors and verse versa and siblings will do the same… to other siblings (Matthew 10:21).

I know many of you are thinking/saying that out right Christian persecution is not coming here, or, if it is, then it is far, far off on the distant horizon. However, I beg to differ because many of us would have said the same thing about gay marriage taking hold in America too. Even now, if a Christian who makes his or living in Hollywood were to say out loud what the Bible says about the homosexual or lesbian lifestyle, he or she would never work in Hollywood again. I can listen to old Rap albums and there are lyrics castigating the gay lifestyle, yet now all of these Rappers would disavowed these lyrics, not out of some new found epiphany borne out of humanitarian social justice, but out of the growing tyranny of the LGBT movement and its malignant influence it has in the Arts and beyond….

In a twinkle of an eye, almost akin to the Rapture, changes can take place in the Spiritual realm that seem to have dire consequential for Christians here on earth; however, if one knows his or her Bible, he or she can see what is coming and knows the great rewards waiting in the next life… of putting off this flawed mortal coil and donning a coil that is incorruptibility. I am not going to boast and say that I am going to die for Christ Jesus - but I sincerely hope that He would allowed me to - or if He sees that in the future that I am going to betray Him, by denying Him, Holy Spirit forbids, then I hope that Christ Jesus mercifully strike me down, so as to secure my soul in His kingdom. I end by inviting anyone who will read this blog and does not know Jesus as Savior… to welcome Him and know the joys in repetition that are in Christ alone (1st Corinthians 2:9).

I knew what he was doing... they think of us as boobs even when we are just gifted in mental faculties as they are... but once again, the Bible warned us of the scoffers in the last days, and, in addition, as the Apostle Paul said that the Gospel is foolishness to them.

"This is ridiculous, there's no Christian persecution in America." by Michaela. Then Michaela proceeds to do exactly what she claims is non existent here.

To say "If anything Christians to this day continue to hate on and persecute groups of people that DO NOT affect your way of life at all." is a persecution of Christians in it's purist form because it is a lie and attempt to stereotype Christians.

Persecution of a hated segment of society begins gradually and accelerates stage by stage. Christians in America should recognize they are well into the first stages of persecution.

The first stage begins with attempts to stereotype the targeted group. Our current president summed up the Christian-hating left’s views of people of faith when in 2008, he categorized working-class voters in the following way: "It's not surprising, then, that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

For Obama, as well as for nearly all the left, people of faith are the inhibitors of “progress,” and they deserve being caricatured as Bible-thumpers, and therefore ignorant, uneducated, backward hicks and rednecks.

The second stage of persecution involves justifying hatred of a particular group.

Stage three involves marginalizing Christians’ role in society.

The fourth stage of persecution involves criminalizing Christians and their churches, businesses, and educational institutions.

Stage five involves persecuting Christians outright. It may involve forcing Christians to go against historic teaching of the Church by insisting that priests and pastors marry gays, as Frank Bruni of the NY Times recently advocated. It then may move on to make religious institutions adhere to government “health” mandates, including provision of abortion services. Sound familiar?

Finally the last stage of persecution of Christians ends in their death.

I hope you are happy Michaela with YOUR participation in this process of persecution.

Most people who do not believe in God would believe MichO. thoughts. Only a Christian can understand the language of a christain life, people that believe something different only understand their experiences, and assume others when they have not walked in their shoes.

But what is so evident is how people show their rudeness because they do not believe.

Why do they have to show a negative side of not believing, not a good example if you wanted people to understand you and what you have to say be a good example in your speech.

Sir - nothing you tell me can change my mind. My Bible says that Christians will be persecuted and so it will be because the Bible is never wrong!

This is ridiculous, there's no Christian persecution in America. People exercising their right to free speech regarding how they feel about organized religion and the subsequent beliefs does not equal persecution. So don't get all butthurt about it. You can believe whatever you want, no one will dispute that, but when you bring those beliefs up against other people you have to expect different types of reactions, that's only natural, and not everyone's gonna like what you have to say. Again, not persecution.

If anything Christians to this day continue to hate on and persecute groups of people that DO NOT affect your way of life at all.

This is for sure fire can test the purity of real things, in the case of being genuine christians , here again a test of faith will be launched, and better yet alot of tests have already begun, how ?

By the tempations of the flesh, will the enjoyment of the flesh mean more then one who created the flesh.

Satan tests people who do not know even they are being tested, some people think that their test is created by the giving and doing good of fellow humans, the wicked give gifts also, so the tested is based weaknesses as humans.

Why if you notice the media is full of violence , sex, and many other things contrary to decency.

Because people are allowing themselfs to be programmed by mental tactics of satan.

Satan point is to distroy and undermind the clean and goodness of the brain, to get people to think bad is good. He wants people to think there is no one to answer to for your choice in conduct. Sad because

If there is local law of conduct , where did this idea come from.

The brain is like a computer what we feed it can have a detrimental effect on us and our future in surviving into the New system.

We would want our minds to keep clean from the defilement of world situations, or else computers have been known to crash.

That is why spiritual things can protect from the dangers of satan

      Funny, remember this?

Asked at what point a baby gets “human rights,” Obama, who strongly supports abortion rights, said: “… whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity … is above my pay grade.”

      ...above his pay grade?

How is it above Obama's "pay grade" to say when life begins but not above his pay grade to declare to whom the future must belong?

      "Slander the prophet of Islam?"

Dare I say anyone who reads the Bible as a Christian has been bestowed with the "pay grade" (according to Obama's sick reasoning) to slander the prophet of Islam, God himself declares in his word that "the prophet of Islam" along with anyone else who preaches another gospel is under God's curse, "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!" Galatians 1:8

Only an ignorant, evil person like Obama would demean the Gospel likening it to a worldly pay grade and raise up the name of a false prophet, "the prophet of Islam" instead of raising up the name of Christ (which I have never heard him say with the reverence he shows toward Mohammed. We know from God's word, save that he repent, exactly how Christ will feel about him: "Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels." Luke 9:26

It's people like Obama that help me to maintain my faith lest I become like them.
