Astrology: Its Aries Season!!!

From March 21^st – April 20^th the sun is in the astrological sign of Aries. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. Aries is the first fire sign of the zodiac (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius all in that order). As a fire sign, Aries is dynamic, energetic and passionate. A fire sign, Aries is ruled by the planet Mars. Mars is the planet of action, energy, and drive. Mars also governs sexuality, anger/aggression, and competition.

Aries rules over the first house. The first house is also known as your rising sign or ascendant sign. The first house is the house of self and rules over your early childhood. It is how you represent yourself to the world, your outlook in life and how the world takes, notice and understand you. It is how we steer through the world and know ourselves through our personal mistakes and challenges. It is who you are and your personality.

Aries phrase is “I am” and its glyph is a ram. This is interesting because these two facts describe the sign of Aries so well. Aries is the screaming baby that bursts into the world with pride. Aries is perhaps the most energetic out of the fire signs due to its Mars/Marian nature, which gives Aries a natural, a five hour energy shot. Aries is a competitive and highly energetic nature. Aries are the do-ers of the zodiac preferring to get things done. They don’t like to slow down, sit down and contemplate, they like to do. This in turn makes Aries act impulsively at times. Aries definitely don’t think before they act.

Aries is also the born leader of the zodiac, especially with its cardinal energy. Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn make up the Cardinal modality. Cardinal modality is a mode that initiates change. Aries is a fearless, brave and courageous sign. Going where others fear, the tireless pioneering sign can be prone to headaches and heart attacks. Aries must learn to show down and to have consideration for others. Being the first sign, a fire sign, and a cardinal sign and ruled by Mars it’s natural for Aries to push themselves onto others (figuratively). Overtly aggressive, competitive Aries can be subjected to being short tempered angry people. This is especially true when they don’t get their way. Even so, as quickly angered they can get, they can quickly lose this anger and go on about their business. Aries can also be considered a very me-first, selfish sign. Quite unusual, but Aries is incredibly childlike, and sometimes be seen as naïve, too trusting and immature. Ruled by Mars and of Cardinal quality Aries is a bit impulsive, quick tempered and self-centered. Even so, Aries is the doer, action-oriented, brave, and courageous of the zodiac. Aries is a very passionate, fearless, with the temperament and curiosity of a child.
