Jezebel Captivity -Part 4

But what happens when the woman takes the leading role that God had prescribed for men?

• If a woman plays her husband’s role in directing the family, he will lose his natural drive to bear responsibility.

• When a woman takes the lead, she is playing the masculine role. Unless her husband fights her for supremacy, he must assume second place. And men who are forced into subjection to their wives they tend to be angry, dejected & retreat like Ahab.

• When a husband steps into a spiritual role at his wifes command, he becomes vulnerable to her guidance in that role. This is against God’s directives & the nature He gave, &often brings conflict in the family & in the church.

• Many men turn their heads when they see their wives stepping out of their God given role. These men would rather not have to deal with then to face the stone-cold anger they would receive from their wives if they gave any resistance. Have you seen that behaviour here & there?

As for the Ahab spirit, it is known to abdicate/give up his authority. It be-speaks of a mind-set that avoids confrontation and denies fault. The spirit of Ahab is weak & fearful. It loves its position but fears confrontation. Working in tandem, the spirits of Ahab & Jezebel quietly form a co-dependent relationship. Both will need & feed off the other in order to accomplish their goals.

" An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.  The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. 12 She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life." Pro 31:10-12

Confronting Jezebel's and Ahab's spirit

When the Jezebel spirit is confronted with the truth, it would perceive the confronter as the enemy. Then it counter-attacks with assaults against this "enemy". In fact, no greater wrath seems to occur than when a controlling person is confronted. This person will never admit guilt or relinquish the sense of power and will retaliate against the confronter. Defensiveness is a common reaction when a suggestion is made. Pride with a mixture of insecurity, which is deep rooted, cannot take correction, because all correction is perceived as rejection. Therefore, you will never hear a person with a controlling spirit admit he is wrong. It is always the fault of someone else. Never is there confession of guilt, contrition or true remorse.

The Jezebel spirit is in contrast to the will of God. Her will has become god. Her will must be accomplished, regardless of the consequences. Not only did Jezebel steal authority, she manipulated those in leadership. She uses lies and distortions. God waits for someone to stand up to her - to confront her. Many succumb to the Ahab spirit and simply turn their heads from her tactics. They reason that, after all, she is religious and works hard in the church. The greatest weakness among leaders is the fear of confrontation. They want peace without paying the price of confronting the manipulation & controlling tactics of the Jezebel spirit.

It is interesting how similar Jezebel's reactions are to those of satan. When the devil tried to infiltrate into the writings in the beginning and I would discover him, his language suddenly from "divine" would become vulgar. The people who "loved" me would turn into a devotee to destroying me & my reputation, after my confrontation with them. Sometimes Jezebel becomes temporarily remorseful, but soon she will go back to her controlling tactics. When it comes to prayer, she would be praying for her own agenda. There is no power in that. True, fervent intercessory prayer causes hearts to change from pride & loftiness to repentance & humility nothing brings a greater death blow to the spirit of Jezebel. As is typical of a Jezebel, she would complain that she wasn't appreciated enough. In her self-centred nature she would go to any lengths, by lying & exaggerating, to make herself look spiritual; after all when being self-centred, no one is as important as they are. Jezebel would state again and again that her decision was the result of much prayer. She knows how to garner sympathy by knowing how to cry at the drop of a hat & fool almost anyone.

Does this make you angry?

I've noticed at times, when I get angry over some of the truths in the Bible that it means I really need delivered from whatever I'm getting upset over. Once one of my relatives called me & talked a little to break the ice & then said God told me to tell you "to soften your heart & stop being a raging wolf". She loves me my aunt that is, so I didn't get angry towards her. I ask her if she had fasted over this & she said yes. She didn't know That I had just ended a fast, and I had been fasting for to be delivered & set free from what was holding me back from going forward with God. I got off the phone & started looking up info on anger, rage, wolves, the heart & the like in the Bible. I started to get really, really angry, rageful. All this stuff was stirred up inside me. Then God basically said stop! Pay attention: the reason you're getting angry is because you need to be free in these areas. God was right! I had just ask Him to be set free during my fasting. Don't let anger make run from freedom, face it head on because your freedom is on the other side. I used to have some of these Jezebel charistics too! I didn't know it until I read about it. It was like looking into the mirror at myself & realizing those things weren't me, but a evil spirit. I felt as though I didn't know myself anymore as this was sinking in & I was getting revelation. I realized that the sexual problems weren't me, and it was trying to kill me & destroy me! I didn't have to submit to this spirit anymore! My Mother, who didn't raise me was dealing with the same spirit, but she was deep in it! I had personality traits of my Mom even though she didn't raise me. Like sexual problems, harshness, coldness, rebellion, manipulation & etc! It was a shock to find out it wasn't my fault, I wasn't horrible, it was a generational curse that came from my mother & past ancestors. I was released from this bondage, thank God for that!

I REBUKE AND BIND AND CAST AWAY FROM MYSELF & MARRIAGE THE SPIRITS OF WITCHCRAFT, LUST, SEDUCTION, INTIMIDATION, IDOLATRY, & WHOREDOM CONNECTED TO JEZEBEL IN JESUS NAME.

I RELEASE THE SPIRIT OF GOD AGAINST JEZEBEL AND HER COHORTS.

I COMMAND IN THE NAME OF JESUS THAT JEZEBEL TO BE THROWN DOWN AND EATEN BY THE HOUNDS OF HEAVEN.

I REBUKE, BIND, & CAST AWAY FROM MYSELF & MY MARRIAGE ALL SPIRITS OF FALSE TEACHING, FALSE PROPHECY, IDOLATRY, AND PERVERSION CONNECTED TO JEZEBEL IN JESUS NAME — REV 2:20

I LOOSE TRIBULATION AGAINST THE KINGDOM OF JEZEBEL — REV 2:22

I CUT OFF THE ASSIGNMENT OF JEZEBEL AGAINST THE MINISTERS OF GOD & MY FAMILY IN JESUS NAME. — 1 KINGS 19:2

I CUT OFF AND BREAK THE POWER OF EVERY WORD RELEASED BY JEZEBEL AGAINST MY LIFE & MARRIAGE IN JESUS NAME.

I CUT OFF JEZEBEL'S TABLE AND REJECT ALL FOOD FROM IT — 1 KINGS 18:19
