Bible Trivia: Firsts in the Bible Quiz

Updated on April 27, 2012
In the beginning...
In the beginning...

This bible trivia quiz on firsts in the bible is based on Genesis, the first book of the bible. Genesis is well known for its account of the first man and the first woman, but it is loaded with many other firsts. Test your knowledge of biblical firsts with this short quiz.

Bible Quiz: Firsts in Genesis

This hub, by no means, includes all the firsts mentioned in Genesis. It could have gone on about the first garden, the first mention of the devil, the first town or river named, the first woman to laugh at God as well as the first man to laugh at God, or man's first recorded attempt to reach heaven without God's help. The bible is full of firsts; they are beginnings. Beginnings that lead to history...HIS story. How well do you know it from start to finish?

Hi Zakgirl, it is a reminder that our heroes of the bible were as human as you and I. Thanks for reading and the comment!

I wasn't thinking that Abraham was in Egypt and with a Pharaoh when he presented Sarah. Oh well, I do now! It was fun though.

You're right about that one, ithabise, it was kind of a trick question. :)

Well . . . I thought my score would have been higher. I need to spend more time in Genesis. :)

I enjoyed the video. I knew the significance of the number seven, but it is always interesting to see the research and learn new things about the significance of the number.

      Great hub!

Hi Tina, I'm glad you enjoyed this hub. I've had some ask for more. I read through the bible each year so in Jan. I'll be back in Genesis again. Will have to watch for ideas for quizzes next time through.
