Bless it don’t Curse it
Have you noticed how when one thing goes wrong a whole pile of others just seem to follow? Something happens and it throws you off and just as you are trying to sort that out another thing and another thing happens. Ever wonder why that happens?
What are you saying when that first thing hits you? What words are coming out of your mouth?
You will notice the bad things that are happening to you, you have gotten into a habit of saying.
Are you constantly talking about being sick? Do you hate your job so you complain about it? Mentioning how your children aren’t doing what you need them to do or they don’t treat you right. Your marriage is topic of discussion, maybe your husband or wife isn’t doing what you want them to do so you are permanently voicing that. You don’t like the City you living in or always complaining about your Country. How about the weather not being good all the time? Prices of things are always going up but the salary never increases. Do any of these sound familiar?
Your words have power and what you say will either bless it or curse whatever you area addressing. Think about that! So if there is an area you are always complaining about maybe you should consider not complaining about it and start Praising God for it and believing for it to get better. Use your words to change a situation and you will see that changing your words will have an inward change in you. Faith will start building up. You will start seeing and believing for the best all the time.
God says in Deuteronomy 30:19 “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life that both though and thy seed may live”
God gives us a choice and how spoilt are we that He even tells us what to choose. He wants us to choose life.
So make a choice but choose wisely. How do you want your life to turn out? Make sure your words are in line with the BLESSING.
