Capricorn Characteristics

Since it is now time for the Capricorn sign to take over I thought I'd write a short hub about Capricorns.

Capricorn is the most stable and serious of types. They are independent to the core, confident, strong willed, and calm. Capricorns are hardworking, practical and responsible people who will continue as long as they need to to accomplish any goal. With their ability to stay with anything until they reach the goal they are good workers and usually become invaluable for their employers. They make great managers because they set high standards for themselves and others, although this can also make them a pain in the butt to work for. They are tough, unyielding, and persistent and usually put their family and work needs before their own.

In personal relationships they tend to be slightly self-centered and cautious. They make very few close friends but are fiercely loyal to them, and can become bitter and powerful enemies if threatened. Since Capricorns are very independent because they know what they are capable of, therefore they hardly ever trust anyone else to finish their work. They evaluate everything and don’t take many chances without weighing the advantages first. There is rarely a grey area with Capricorns, as everything is black and white. Capricorns are loners but do need to feel appreciated even though they are good at hiding this desire. Capricorns are capricious (yes, the words came from one another) and can have awful mood swings. Oddly enough they often have an interest in the occult even though they are usually skeptical.

My best friend as a kid was a Capricorn. I was shocked after looking into it. It was dead on!
