Chose this day whome you will serve

Updated on June 18, 2013

The time is now

Chose this day whom you will serve. Will you serve the one true Lord, Jesus Christ? Or not?
If you will choose Him, then you must put away all the things of the world and desires of the flesh.
If you do not, then you are following Satan, you can not have two masters, you can not serve Jesus and another.

Matthew 6:24
24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Joshua 24:15
15 But if serving the
Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Revelations 3:15-16
15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Many people try to live on both sides of the fence, but this can not work. God says that He will spew you out. He is very clear on this matter. In Matthew 7:21-23 He says:
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Either you serve Jesus or not. We all must make a choice, what is your choice? Remember, nothing and nobody on this world is worth going to hell for. When we die, where we end up is because of the choice we make while we are alive. No person can get us into heaven once we are dead. No amount of praying, begging and pleading will change where we end up. The only way to eternal salvation is by turning away from sin, asking for forgiveness and living the life and in a manner that God wants us to. He wants that every person be saved, and He wants this because he loves us.
There are so many people who worship the flag of their nation, gold, money, even political leaders and other ‘stuff’. But none of these will save you. When you stand before God, what will He say? Will He welcome you in with open arms or cast you into the fiery pit of hell, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
I pray that you choose Jesus, He desires a relationship with you. He wants you to follow Him so that your life on earth will be filled with His will and goodness and when the time comes, you will spend eternity with Him. Do not wait, we do not know how much time we have left on earth.

Isaiah 43:10-11
10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no saviour.

Romans 10:9
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
