Christian Unversities and Seminaries – Of God or of Man
So called christian training places such as Colleges, Universities and Seminaries are a big deal today in the church system because of the desire from “churches” to have their leaders have proof of preparation in a manner that is acceptable to their beliefs. If First Baptist has A clergy headed be a man with a Doctorate degree, how can First Methodist or even Second Baptist compete without an equal pedigree?
Since each group has their own requirements (beliefs)it becomes necessary for each group to have their own schools of clergy preparation.
But the very thought of these indoctrination centers causes some concern if we look to the scriptures in earnest to determine the scriptural requirement or justification for them.
First let us look at what scripture has to say about the different requirements (beliefs) of the different “church groups”.
The Divisions of the Church of Jesus Christ, different branches
Since there are thousands (over 45,000 currently) of groups, denomination, divisions within the church system, each saying they are a branch of the church of Jesus Christ, or that they are the church of Jesus Christ, how does this fit with scripture? Here is what scripture has to say about the different divisions.
Rom 16:17-19 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.
OOPss, This is not what you expected? Here is a list of new testament scriptures about the divisions of christianity that are so important to some. But Scripture is saying that division is not good. How can that be when all clergy in all churches believe in and practice division, separation, sects, etc. Can this many men be deceived? Let us look at each scripture and see the details, maybe we misunderstand at first look.
1 Cor 1:10-13 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11 For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you. 12 Now I say this, that each of you says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ." 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
This one says the people that cause the divisions, the ones contrary to the Gospel, DO NOT SERVE THE LORD? That they are serving themselves and trying to deceive me with smooth words and flattering speech because they think I am simple minded?
We are to ALL speak the same thing? There can BE NO DIVISIONS AMONG US? What do you mean it is wrong to say I am a baptist. What do you mean It is wrong to say I am a methodist?
Whoa don't get upset with me I am just explaining what the scriptures say.
1 Cor 3:1-4 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal?
What, you say I am carnal, a baby,not able to eat solid food? But I believe in Jesus, I believe what my church teaches, I have been a member of my church for 40 years, I am proud to be a baptist. . How can you call me carnal? Wait! I did not call you carnal, we are reading scripture and it says that.
1 Cor 11:17-22 For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. 19 For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you. 20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper. 21 For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.
When your church gets together there are divisions, there are factions. You must be wrong why we all get along great. Hmmmm
Jude 16-19 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
Oh, here it is, I see it now the trouble makers are without the Spirit, Yeah we knew that.
Wait, that is not what it said, it says that those that DO THESE things are troublemakers because they do these things. Are you saying I do not have the Holy Spirit? Uh uh well yes I am because Scripture says that.
Actually it says that anyone and everyone that claims alliance and allegiance to any division except the division JESUS Brings, are not His, they are immature, they are simple minded, grumblers, complainers, flatterers, walking in the lust of their flesh and they do not have the Holy Spirit. WOW
If you are a (insert the name of your church here) then you cannot be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are a church christian but you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ, the son of God and cannot enter the eternal kingdom of God, even if you endure to the end like you are. That is a terrible thing to say to me. Sorry I did not say that, but I do agree because it is what the above scriptures say is truth. Now we look at the need for christian colleges and universities
Why is there a need for such as these? Where does scripture tell us to establish these bastions of higher learning? What new covenant scripture do we use to get establish a command for building them? Who said it? What did they say?
Did you find one? Sorry, neither did I because there are none. They are like the rest of the church system, inventions, fruit of the carnal minds of the men that lead the church system. They teach the doctrines of their division, they do not teach the doctrine of Christ. They want you to of their kingdom, Christ wants you to become a citizen of His Kingdom, the only eternal kingdom. All kingdoms other than THE KINGDOM OF GOD will be cast into the lake of fire along with all their disciples at the coming of judgment day.
Since He is LORD of This Age, We Need to See What Jesus Says
Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
1 Cor 15:24-28 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
Jesus has all authority for this age until the end (judgment), when He returns it to God forever. He is acting as God, He is not God, He is God's delegated authority and ruler of this age, only for this age. As the ruler of this age He makes the rules we must follow. No other man has any authority in this age unless Jesus gives it to them. The only authority He has given, and it is given ONLY to HIS DISCIPLES, is to make disciples FOR HIM.
So we now must look at what Jesus says we are to do in all things. What does He say and who does He say it to about establishing His church.
In the above scriptures He says to His disciples “ 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” . Note that this is said ONLY to His disciples and He also includes how they are to do what He desires, they are to replicate who they are in Him. There is no other person involved, each disciple of Christ is commanded by Christ to “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.“ Do you see it, you, if you are a disciple of Christ, doing ALL HE requires of you, YOU are to GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF CHRIST. There is NO “man made church system involved, no clergy (which does not exist in this age), just the individual disciples of Christ following their Leader who is Christ the Lord of this age. This means YOU are to baptize them in water, YOU are to see they are baptized (filled with) the Holy Spirit, YOU are to teach them ALL He Requires of them, YOU are to make them into disciples of Christ. Ephesians tells us that the mature saints are to do the work of the ministry. The disciples of Christ ARE THE MATURE saints, they understand ALL that Christ requires of them AND DO ALL THAT HE REQUIRES.
You are not to take them anywhere, you are to bring Christ to them, Christ, not a “church” or man.
Did you notice Jesus DOES NOT REQUIRE anyone to come to Him as man do? His command is that we GO to them.
His command about going to a “church” and “clergy” is clear, DO NOT GO WITH THEM.
Luke 21:8-9 And He said: "Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them.
The bible colleges are works of apostate men as are the church system, their church buildings and all that has anything to do with them. They are established by men to promulgate the works of men, their divisions which GOD HATES. These divisions “churches of men” are satans playpen, led by men to whom God has sent a strong delusion because they have not a love for the truths of God, have become agents and promoters of satan's movement and are not in any way a part of the Kingdom of God. They have established their own kingdoms, the baptist kingdom, the presbyterian kingdom, the assembly of God kingdom and over 4500 more different kingdoms, none of which are of God To enhance and grow their kingdoms they make disciples of their kingdom, and their disciples make more disciples of their kingdoms, by using the old bait and switch method, bring them to us in the name of Jesus and let us make disciples of them. But they cannot make disciples of Christ, only a true disciple of Christ that does all He requires of them can make a disciple of Christ. Any other can only make disciples of what he actually represents, a baptist makes baptists ( check the s, baptist website, it says “ how to become a baptist”, they even admit it up front, they can only make you a baptist And all other divisions, whether they admit it or not can only do like wise, make you their disciple.
To become a son of God and have entry to the eternal Kingdom of God, your name must be found in the Lamb's book of life at the judgment. Only Jesus Christ can write your name in the book, even God cannot, ALL authority on heaven and earth is in the Hands of Jesus for this age.
Choose which you will follow, the works of apostate men leading you to satan's (their) kingdom or the SON OF GOD who will grant you eternal life? Choose wisely, there is no 2nd chance at the great white throne of judgment. There if you name is found in the book you are granted entry to eternity. But if it not you will be cast into the lake of fire and destroyed,
