Could another Aries Be a Perfect Match for an Aries?

Updated on May 29, 2013

Compatibility Is The Goal

This series on AstroCompatibility will cover all of the potential matchups in the Zodiac. We will begin with Aries and Aries.  You can get an EBOOK with all 12 matchups described, for each sun sign, including, of course, Aries at Christofer's New Website:

Aries - Aries -

"All the Rams That Chase the Ewe Sheep are Determined There'll be New Sheep and the Ewe Sheep aren't even keeping score". That is from the Musical "Carousel", and we might as well start out with the simple Springtime truth. These two are full of life. But it is really hard to see them together. I mean, who would be the one not to try to take charge? Since both the man and the woman have the Spring time energy, one could only imagine that one of the Aries would be a little less headstrong than the other, maybe a mitigating softening Moon placement, and a humble rising sign, but really, this is a very hard match to imagine with long term success.

Positive Postulate: Since Aries and Aries means that they would share sun sign qualities and interests, it is possible that conflict would be low. Positively speaking they could have an opportunity not to be selfish, just because they would be on the same page so much. This is my counter balancing factor. In spite of the conflict aspects to this union, you have to assume that many potential problems would never arise just because of their similarities.

Romance Recommendation: Aries and Aries would have a very high romance factor, as long as they don't knock each othe out deciding who would be dominate.

Conflict Quotient: Aries and Aries would rate low here. Who would listen? When would one party maintain a calm about them while they hammered about the key details carefully? They might not even break for the bells to end the rounds. You have to ask the question whether a couple knows how to fight so that the realtiohship lasts. Again, I would give this a lower rating.

Peace Parlay: Life in the end is repetitive and mundane, and so is Romance itself. This factor asks the question: "Can we be bored together over the long term?" Aries and Aries could probably be quiet and mundane together because these people are pretty lively and sparkly types. They would get a high rating here. The pulse rate in the relationship would stay on the radar screen. Good results here.

Keep Up The Interest Graph: Aries and Aries, as is implied in the previous paragraph would definitely keep the interest up. Not just romantically, but conversation, hobbies, outside interests and cultural lives.

Seven Year Itchiness: There are some signs that by their nature are more stable in their love interests and family concerns as time goes on. Others are not. I would not rate the Aries essentially to be ultra stable. When the 7 Year Itch came along, they both might be scratching.

I would rate this:

ASTROCOMPATIBILITY POSSIBILITY RATING: 50% Long Term - 85% Short Term. That means that the Aries/Aries combo is one that probably would not make it, or have an average American chance of surviving over the years. But in the short term, one can easily see a short dramatic romantic movie being shot for all the novelty, joy and life of the story.
