Demons, Former sons of God?
Noah's Flood, Justified Punishment.
Most individuals are apparently unaware of the situation 120 years prior to Noah's flood. Research should reveal
that mutant offspring from certain angels who forsook their position in heaven, materialized as men and cohabited with "daughters of men", were dominant on earth then. These were called Nephilims and were giants bent on violence.
Let us look at Jude 6: “And the angels that did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper dwelling place he has reserved with eternal bonds under dense darkness for the judgment of the great day.
The Scripture above is directly connected to the Scripture at 2 Peter 2: 4. What is it referring to exactly though?
A look a Genesis 6: 1, 2 read: Now it came about that when men started to grow in numbers on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them, then the sons of the true God began to notice the daughters of men, that they were good looking; and they went taking wives for themselves, namely, all whom they chose.
This Scripture helps us to more fully understand what took place. It says that some angels [sons of the true God] forsook their positions in heaven and chose wives from the daughters of men. These rebellious spirit creatures of God de-materialized [resumed spirit characteristics] and so were NOT destroyed with their hybrid offspring and the rest of wicked mankind in the flood in Noah’s time. These rebel angels are called DEMONS or REBELS and have joined forces with the Devil/Satan [slanderer/ adversary]
Please SEE also, 1 Peter 3: 19, 20 read: In this state also he went his way and preached to the spirits in prison, who had once been disobedient when the patience of God was waiting in Noah’s day, while the ark was being constructed, in which a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water.
Whilst their offspring were destroyed by the flood waters the rebel angels dematerialized [re-attained their sprit characteristics], but they are unable to materialize again, they can possess though since as rebel angels they are demons [rebels], and there are various Biblical texts of demons possessing those who are prone to such.
