Diversified Vision Equals Provision

Updated on May 25, 2015

Diversify your vision

There is more than one way of looking at something, and to continue to look at something the same way will continually produce the same results. Brainstorming is effective because it involves many other people who contribute their thoughts and opinions so there is not just one way of looking at an issue. Investors diversify their portfolio's so they can recoup their losses in case one of their investments do not pan out, but if they put all of their eggs in one basket...they could possibly lose everything. Diversify your vision concerning family, relationships, employment, finance, and recoup your losses!

Looking through the eyes of your spirit

People are spirit, they have a soul (mind will emotions) and they live in a body. Our spirits have eyes and I'm going to prove it to you...

1. Close your eyes and say out loud the word DOG

Now as you open your eyes, may I tell you that you did not see the letters d.o.g. in dog...but you did see the dogs image, that was the eyes of your spirit and as you can see words create images. 2 Corinthians 10 tells us to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Since words can create images, one should be careful of who speaks into one's life, for example children who have been told that they will never amount to anything in life, must remove that image of how they see themselves by diversifying their vision, and seeing themselves the way God sees them. This is done by setting their sights on what Gods word says, and taking their thoughts off of what someone else has negatively told them. Many focus on what they cannot do...but for everything one cannot do, there are numerous things that can be done. Diversifying one's vision on numerous successes will stamp out one's negative focus.

Remember words create images

Seeing an issue diversified brings focus

And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up , and said, I see men as trees walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up; and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. People who have lost their physical sight have learned to use their other senses to guide them, but if they simply rely on what's no longer useful..they may simply do less of what they are capable of or give up. I have had the pleasure of working with blind students for over 26 years and I can personally say that they are special and gifted, but to the out side world looking into their world, all they can see is how hard it must be to be blind, etc, but for me on the inside I saw so much more, and did not even look at their handicap most of the time. They compensated in other ways for what they did not have...sight. This is diversified vision at it's best; Finding out what you can do to compensate for what you cannot. Diversify your vision and use your gifts, talents, and abilities toward your family, marriage, relationship, on the job, the possibilities are endless.

How do you see?

Jesus asked the blind man how he saw? and he focused on men but saw them as trees. Many times a person's perception causes them to see things the way that they really are not. People see themselves the way they really are not...they see their job the way that it really isn't. A persons perception many times may be based upon their past and present experiences, whether good or bad. A person who has had an abusive past will see things totally different than someone from a loving past and it is these hurts and pains that must be dealt with so that other gifting's can be focused on. Jesus touched the man again and he saw clearly. People whose lives have been touched in a significant way may be able to see things whether good or bad having worked together for their common good. I have personally looked back over my life at some very painful events that have occurred, and at the time could not understand why? questioning God why? at the time of devastation my focus was off and I could not see things clearly, as with most everyone, but when everything blow over and the sun began to shine again...I saw clearly, I saw clearly the reason why and how Romans 8:28 was true, that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord, and to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Are you seeing the world around you in focus, or out of focus?

People see you the way you see yourself

And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in OUR OWN SIGHT as grasshoppers, AND SO WE WERE IN THEIR SIGHT.

How do you see yourself? in a good way or bad way. People have a tendency to focus on the negative areas they feel about themselves and to leave the positive areas in a blur. The more you focus on an area...the more you talk about it, think about it, the more it magnifies and grows until it consumes your life. People who suffer with weight disorders have seen themselves as overweight when in reality they are skin and bones. We can make it easy for people to treat us without respect if they see that we don't respect ourselves. People who see themselves as victims...usually bring into their lives like a magnet that type of abuse because people treat you like you treat yourself. One person received an expensive gift and asked the person why they spent so much? The person responded they not think of buying anything cheap because they always had the very best. This person treated the other the way they treated themselves.

people see you the way you see yourself!
