Hearing God in prayer
When we pray...do you hear God speak to you?
What a bizarre question one might ask! Many people I have done just that....ask if they actually hear God. Ofcourse I was told "no not really" Just an answer came to mind" That could be our own voice I conclude now! As my reality becomes more complicated in my illness, my visions become more realistic! God actually does have audio and speaks to me in a low, soft, firm and patient voice.
As I will never push my thoughts and views on anyone, I can't help but wonder how many others out there feel as though they have had a real conversation with our maker. My prayers have always relaxed me and a feeling of what will be will be was always implied. However now that seems so passive and not what I need in prayer anymore!
Maybe some of us (like myself) need a more stark expression from God. Forever I will feel blessed to feel his sunshine and the rest of the wonderment that has been supplied! However next time God speaks to me directly...............I will be more alert and try my best to be lead wherever he sends me next!
