Wait--Donald Trump Fulfilled a Major Bible Prophecy on Monday?

The Proposed Prophecy

The Christian-Bible verse Revelation 12:14 reads,

"And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."

Dr. Irvin Baxter of Endtime Ministries claims that Donald Trump has fulfilled this prophecy as of Monday August 13th, 2018.

Consequently, this is where the examination of Dr. Baxter's claim begins.

A Serpent... in the Wilderness?

One of the most noted stories in the Old Testament was the story of the children of Israel's time spent in the wilderness because of their inability to trust God after He had delivered them from captivity and promised them a better future. Therefore, it is commonly concluded that the wilderness being spoke of in the verse from Revelations is Israel.

The serpent is the animal commonly associated with the Devil, stemming from multiple expressions from Biblical figures describing him as such, as well as the well-known story of the serpent deceiving Eve in the Garden of Eden who is confidently agreed upon as the Devil.

Dr. Baxter has not kept secret with his belief that the "two wings of a great eagle..." in the aforementioned Bible verse is referring to the United States of America, as he is often inquired of this belief from callers on his radio program - Irvin publicly reaffirms this belief weekly. Dr. Baxter "fool-proofs" this claim with historical backing, citing the United States' removal from the British Empire in the 17th century as fulfilling the following verse,

"I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it." - Daniel 7:2-4

Marrying this scripture from Daniel with Revelations 12:14, Baxter claims that America is in-fact the great eagle who flies into "the wilderness" to protect her for times, time, and half a time, or three and a half years.

Here is where things begin to get interesting!

Dr. Baxter's Evidence

Dr. Baxter claimed on-air during the August 14th, 2018 edition of his television and radio program End of The Age that Donald Trump had signed a defense bill on Monday, August 13th that allocated Israel up to $550 million in military funding, with $500 million being designated for missile-defense cooperation, and $50 million being used to detect enemy tunnels leading into Israel. The development and enactment of this bill was beginning to happen as of today (Wednesday, August 15th) per Dr. Baxter's testimony.

Dr. Baxter notes that this development is especially important because of the Islamic pressure that is mounting concerning the Gaza strip. Additionally there is significant pressure accumulating around the rebuilding of the temple, the dispute over who owns the temple mount, and the question of whether or not Israel has a right to exist. It was essential that the United States pick whom they were to defend, and it is apparent that we are defending Israel.

Furthermore, Dr. Baxter stated that the annual funding to Israel as a result of this bill totals $3.8 billion. Additionally, Republican senators have moved to overturn part of the bill in order to allow more money to be sent Israel's way, as portions of the bill were originally constructed during President Barack Obama's time in office.

To top it all off, Dr. Baxter states that this bill is designed to send Israel these funds for the next 10 years! This is significant because of the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan that President Trump had constructed that he has said he wishes to reveal to both parties by the end of this month.

Additional Evidence

Also during Trump's term he has recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital, moved the United States' embassy to Jerusalem, imposed tighter metals tariffs on Turkey (whose leader has declared that they're a Muslim state), pulled out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and backed out of the Iranian nuclear deal. Every one of these decisions are opposed to Islamic desires.

Of utmost importance is the constructed peace plan that Trump has chosen not to propose yet, which has implications that will benefit both Israeli's and Palestinians, while at the same time angering both Israeli's and Palestinians. Once this peace plan is enacted, the Bible declares that a false peace and safety will be established that will ultimately lead to utter destruction (1st Thessalonians 5:3). Could we be seeing the precursor to that very event?

With the Iranian pressure mounting, the Middle-East pressure reaching a pinnacle, and the reality being that Israel and Iran are but a short mishap away from full scale war (potentially nuclear in the worst-case scenario), Israel needed support. At this point the only significant power in the world that has shown any level of support for Israel is the United States. Russia has shown favor towards Israel at times, but has often played both sides of the card, choosing the Islamic nations more often than not. China is at odds with the United States because of tariff disputes, among other issues that revolve around internet-related accusations.

The world is ready to snap at the thought of Israel causing World War 3. From the world's perspective, it would make much more sense to remove Israel to appease the majority of the 1.8 billion Muslims that are currently practicing the religion in presumably every country in the world.

America is very much so "flying into the wilderness" to protect Israel. As future developments occur, look for the peace plan that Donald Trump has had constructed to be proposed, and ultimately signed (if you're a Bible-believing Christian then you know the Bible speaks of a peace deal that the Antichrist confirms with many). Dr. Baxter's claim appears to not be as much of a theory as many would like to presume. Look for Middle-East escalation, World War 3, and the attempted destruction of Israel in the not-so-distant future.

The open mind is so crucial, and after a quick scan of your page I can tell that you have spent time listening to and researching different theories. I spent most of my time researching a multitude of things!

Once the Bible began to be opened to me and I was able to look at the Biblical prophecy and align it with historical events, some recent and some distant, there was no way that I could deny the legitimacy.

To give a minor example, the Bible predicted the rise of many of the nations we see today, some of the more notable nations being Europe, Russia, Germany, and the United States. The Bible predicted the United States formation with pinpoint precision.

      That cannot be a coincidence?

I've read of the theories of who created the Bible, when it was altered, the distortion of some of the new versions, etc.

      Anyhow, God bless you!

I can wholly believe the part about the Roman Catholic Church....as i read the Jesuits are the true hidden power of the Earth.

      Something to consider.

But i cannot support Israel. Just as i would not have supported Nazi Germany.

I will have to be cursed.

I also am not a believer in the Man God.

But i wish you all the best.....you show your religion by treating people with respect!

I will keep an open mind.

      Leslie,

To address the first error, the Whore of Babylon is the Roman Catholic Church. This isn't a theory at this point. Many, many proven studies on this by theologians of every denomination, and the scriptural evidence to back it up is absolutely overwhelming... more than substantial evidence.

The American viewpoint on becoming the Whore of Babylon began with a theory of a street named Babylon in New York (if I remember correctly, would have to double check the exact location) and continued to gain steam because of the moral issues we have faced as of recent. It has really gained stream since the 1990's, especially heightening from 2010 on.

The Middle-Eastern Anti-Christ theory is one that truly has some substance to it. I was reading Daniel 11 today and I could see where some could believe that, although I am of the belief that the Anti-Christ will rise out of the soon-coming European super state (see Daniel 7:7-8).

Furthermore, a person does not have to be deemed as spiritually blind to acknowledge Israeli error and still support them. Ultimately, as a Christian, I support the truth. I could not deny that there have been questionable things does by Israeli leadership, as I would be bold-faced lying.

Similarly, it would be very deceitful to say that President Trump has not done questionable things while in office, or beforehand, or during his campaign, or whenever/whatever else people like to acknowledge pertaining to him.

That does not, however, mean that supporting a Presidential move to support God's chosen people equates to spiritual blindness. You have to look at the bigger picture and what is happening on a prophetic scale. To be direct, it is totally incorrect to assert that upon someone.

Grouping Christians who do not know what they're talking about together with all Christians is inconsistent and unfair, and leads those who truly are spiritually blind (unbelievers) to question the faith all together. We ought to be direly careful in our discernment, earnestly praying for guidance from the Lord and deep study of God's written Word before we make statements like that.

I would implore of you sister, please be careful not to irresponsible claims. I do not mean to come across as "talking down" to you at all, so please do not misunderstand me.

I do support the move to back Israel, as God instructed us that those who bless Israel shall be blessed, and those that curse Israel shall be cursed. So yes, I do support President Trump's move to fund Israel financially and militarily.

That does not mean I am spiritually blind, rather, it is evidence of being spiritually awake by recognizing the Biblical actions being taken that were spoken of millenniums ago.

Likewise, one book and documentary are not substantial enough evidence to come to a definite conclusion. In an age of many voices, many theories, and many false-teachers, the Bible is our source of authority and speculation is near worthless if it cannot be supported by chapter and verse that is taken in true context and not out of context, as is so common today.

Likewise, a multitude of documentaries, theories, and books can be compiled and be as far from the truth as a sentence spoken from the Devil himself.

      God bless you!

      Jake,

I would love to discuss this more in-depth with you away from this comment section. I am interested in your perspective and viewpoint. If you would have me, I'd love to converse back and forth. Emailing could be a viable option?

Hope to hear from you soon!

There are some who maintain that America is the whore of Babylon. It is also said the anti Christ will reside in the Middle East.

If you haven't paid attention to Israels actions, continue to support it, it is the same as people who ignore Trumps atrocities.

These people are spiritually blind, imo.

I would implore you to read real accounts of these for profit detention centers.

And read "if America knew", or watch some real documentaries of the occupation.

It cannot be supported under anything remotely called God.

If there is a bible there must be an anti-christ and revelation and if the serpent doesn't reside in the white house as we speak, we will never see one which means the bible does not exist:

Mr Trump is atrociously caging innocent children, calling women dogs, igniting racial tension, calling African Americans 'His African American", insulting great American War Heroes like John McCain while Mr. Trump dodged the draft several times apparently because of his cowardice, and he continues to tear apart our NATO Allies while betraying the USA by aiding and comforting our arch enemies like Vlaidmir Putin:

This is certainly not a force of nor does it unite us, in reality, we have an evil in our midst not a vessel of righteousness, and how some Christians can continue to ignore, or pretend this evil does not exist in our white house is a significant sign of cultish activity:

Leslie, I respectfully and wholly disagree with you. We are entitled to our own opinions but I always try to look back to the scripture. Most of the scriptures you alluded to refer to something specific.

Never does the Bible allude to the serpent with reference to America. Multiple times the Bible declares the serpent to be Satan. Many.

Here is just one example, as I do not have much time this morning to go into further depth:

"And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,"

      Revelation 20:2

      That is very straight-forward.Very.

We aren't hurting Israel by defending them.

I've never seen any information relating to the world trying to stop the genocide of the Palestinian race or wishing genocide upon them, either. I have, however, seen multiple historical accounts of Jewish persecution.

I also see headlines daily of threats to wipe Israel off of the map.

I try to avoid "I think", instead choosing to lean on scripture. The peace plan is essentially a two-state solution, which makes the entire situation interesting in and of itself.

I respectfully disagree with the way you view it, but I respect your right to view it the way that you do.

Actually, Israel is an apartheid state, and the world is trying to stop the genocide of the Palestinian race.

America is the serpent swallowing the innocent whole.

You forget Gods admonition on hurting children. But we who are watching have not.

I think Israel under Netanyahu is a great evil, and by aligning with it, we are evil, too.

We will not accept evil in the name of god. That is the abomination, IMO.
