Enlightenment and Spiritual Growth Through Dragon Fire

Updated on January 15, 2012

Enlightenment by Dragon Fire

The term Dragon Fire is part metaphor, part reality. It implies to create change quickly and powerfully.

We all have dragon fire within us. We are all capable of accessing it and using it for our benefit or detriment, and for the benefit or detriment of others.

You can find examples of dragon fire on all levels, physical, mental, energetic, spiritual, divine, and higher.

There are 4 main ways that we can use our dragon fire. These are: creation, destruction, malevolence, and, perhaps mysteriously, love. Understanding of some basic principles leads to greater understanding of the self, which, in turn, leads to greater spiritual growth and enlightenment.

Dragon Fire is like passion in people. Dragons, like people, seek spiritual growth and spiritual enlightenment too, but they do it with passion

Negative and Positive, Masculine and Feminine

Enlightenment often comes from learning from polarites

While you will discover there is dragon fire that is neither positive nor negative, neither masculine nor feminine, we humans live in a polarised world of negatives and positives. We are also masculine and feminine. And dragon fire at the lower levels is the same, negative and positive, masculine and feminine.

Symbolically, positive dragons are red (masculine) or green (feminine) and they breathe fire that is predominantly red, orange, yellow, green or blue. Negative dragons are dark, often black or dark brown, and they breathe fire that is dark, typically with black smoke.

Ultimately, whether positive or negative, masculine or feminine, what all dragons seek is higher spiritual growth and enlightenment.

The Dragon Fire Within

The ancients have passed down some of their enightenment traditions

There exist fragments of pottery with depictions of a snake coiled around a stick that date from the time of the Dragon Lords of ancient Sumer (prior to 2000 B.C.). This is like the Staff of Aesculapius, or perhaps the Caduceus, the difference being that the caduceus has two snakes intertwining, and it has wings (meaning that it is really dragon rather than snake).

These snakes symbolize the Serpent Power or Kundalini. If they were painted in color, one of the snakes would be red (masculine) and the other green (feminine). Where the two snakes cross over signifies chakras or more precisely, energy centers.

Some people see the manipulation of their kundalini as an opportunity for spiritual growth and enlightenment. Beware.

Similar to the Staff of Aesculapius. This is an ancient symbol of kundalini - the dragon fire within. It can also symbolize spiritual growth and spiritual enlightenment.

The Dragon Fire of Kundalini

As you journey along your Sacred Path to Enlightenment you are likely to encounter your Kundalini

The Kundalini is your power. It runs up the spine and it is of a masculine nature. If you could see it, it would look red. A mirror of the Kundalini runs up the front of the body. This is the feminine Kundalini and if you could see it, it would look green.

The Kundalini is highly intelligent and knows what it is doing without any conscious help or interference.

If you want to achieve highest spiritual growth and enlightenment then it is best to leave the kundalini alone.

What Could the Dragon Fire Within Look Like? - Some people experience unusual things on their sacred path to enlightenment

An amazing video by someone who has visualized the dragon fire within for us.

Tai Chi for Re-balancing the Body's Energies

I want to introduce this video by repeating that Kundalini "awakening" exercises can create major problems for the practitioner. This author recommends staying well clear of such exercises, they are too dangerous. There are better, safer, easier ways of achieving the desired result, (which is spiritual growth and enlightenment). For those who have made the mistake of doing such kundalini awakening exercises, Tai Chi helps to settle down an over-reacting kundalini, allowing a speedier return to normal life (so long as the exercises are stopped).

Cool down the dragon fire with this simple exercise.

Enlightenment Through Celestial Resonance

The Path to Divinity and Even Higher Enlightenment

As I said, this lens is largely metaphorical. But there is a thread of truth running through it. In fact, it is a divine form of truth called 'Highest Truth'. There is also 'Highest Love', 'Highest Wisdom' and 'Apex Knowledge' within this lens.

These are some of the keys to your eventual attainment of Everlasting Dragon Fire. They are Divine Qualities. If you want to eventually attain Everlasting Dragon Fire in this life, you need these Divine Qualities (and others) resonating within you.

There is a Divine Language, 'The Language of The Gods'. This 'Celestial Language' includes words that resonate with these Divine Qualities. Speaking these Celestial Words of Divine Power, or better still, resonating them, will establish the Divine Qualities within your own being.

As you build yourself up with an abundance of these Divine Qualities so your light will shine brighter and brighter and you will add a whole new meaning to the terms 'Spiritual Growth' and 'Enlightenment'.

If you have any feedback or perhaps a personal story to tell I would love to hear from you.

@anonymous: What a beautifully worded and well thought-out comment, Leandra. When I wrote this lens I was immersed in the nature of The One. To receive the Grace of The One you first have to raise you vibration higher and higher, through the Spiritual levels, through the Divine levels, and then higher than Divine, higher than highest negative (there is negativity on all levels, even beyond the divine) and higher than highest positive. Along the way you encounter a vast number of beings, both positive and negative, and after going beyond highest negative, the negative beings cease to be such an issue. As I said, when I composed this lens I was exploring the nature of The One, and the closest I can get to describing it in words that are understandable is to say Dragon Fire. You could say that I have now gone beyond even this. I am now becoming increasingly aware that it is all illusion, that the gods, positive or negative, dragon-like or not, are just part of that illusion, and if they are not aware that it is illusion then they are suffering from the same illusion. All is one. There is no separation. There are no words to adequately describe it. Perhaps if I say that there is only limitless awareness and that all else is illusion. To use a metaphor, it is like going to the movies. We believe the movie is real until it stops and then all that remains is the screen. The screen is real. The movie is illusion.

Without any other process other than conjecture you have managed to create something that seems real in it's outset, but when taken as "Metaphor" does not seem to track. It seems to me that Dragon fire is the key to something, a door that remains unseen or yet to be found. Think about this for a moment. Part Metaphor, Part reality. Yet you do not go on to elaborate. Metaphor is defined as a comparison within literature, and yet Dragon fire compares itself to nothing, for within it's grasp we tend to be able to accomplish all we would wish. This power comes from a dark place and possibly should be left there. Darkness is a tricky thing. More than often it pretends to be the light. I have seen on other dragon fire websites comments like crossing the abyss requires a firm footing or a willingness to learn how to fly. Here's something new for you to chew on Wal. Dragons are greedy indiscrete murderess beasts and for the most part our perception of them cannot be anything but skewed. If dragon fire comes from an imperfect source there can be no way to ascend to become one unless there is a dark blessing underlying their evil intention. The dark Goddess Kali underlies the power of the dragon, she's not the easiest Goddess in the world to try to please. To follow the Dragon way means to worship in her wake. Carefully tread when delving into the Darkness. I have a personal relationship with this Goddess, and she's always nice at the outset, but the onset leads to objected slavery by her underlings. Dragon fire is about serving as a dragon, and since Goddesses like Kali make the rules in these cases we will end up serving the darkness no matter how good our intentions are at the outset. That's our way. The way of darkness, the way of the dragon. I just thought that your potential followers should be aware of it.

@sukkran trichy: Thank you for you comment, your like and your blessing. I might add to this lens one day after exploring more of heart centered limitless enlightenment and its association with Kundalini. I recall it being said that Ramana's kundalini would see his head waving to and fro while he meditated.

Hi Wal, Allen Graih here. When I began spouting about Dragonfire and multiplicity 8 years ago, I only had a rudimentary sense of where this could go. SO OM-Goddess(LOL). You'all seem to know the way and to where you want to take this. I'll leave it to the people then. My path has taken a different direction of late, Thanks for taking up the Mantel and making such a fury out of the dragon way. I am still a believer that voices in our heads are not all bad and have a divine source, if we care to find it. But you take this where you will, with my blessings.

And to all the other people this page has inspired. Be the fire, the dragon is only the vessel, only an image. It is the fire that burns within that defines us as those who will fight for the truth. finding it wherever it my be.

I'll stick to music for now,

      better days.

See you Wal, and for the record, more has come of this than I could have ever imagined. Keep the dragon fires burning.

It only takes a spark to light a fire.

But it takes honor, truth, and love to be a dragon.

My the Dragon reign supreme once again, with love to guide the way.

@DragonfireWal: Good luck with your Dragonfire way Wal. I will continue down a different path. Dragonfire is about building emotional stability and imagined reality. There is no ascension within it to any high spiritual level. The best we can do is create happiness in the world around us by creating beauty within our own lives and allowing it to overflow to others. Kundalini breaks down all of those attitudes of ascension or any sort of spiritual empowerment that exists in a realm of universal polarity. We are not one with positive and negative, nor male or female. We are at peace with a spiritually neutral stance, not looking to see a higher value, and then accepting that which we have right here on this earth, in this place, and in this time. I will likely not convince you of the lack of need for accession in Dragonfire. My teacher taught it in this way. "Each moment that we live is a cherished event. Cherish these moment that you are here on this earth. For once they are over they will never come again." Where,Wal, is the ascension in that. We're just here to be, nothing more. When it is done where we go is where we image we belong. It is the imagination that leads us to our ultimate reality, not anything we do in this life. We can't imagine our way into the universal plane. There is no universal plane or cosmic consciousness. Only our personal Ambient space based upon our personal emotional values. I'm not sure who taught you about Dragonfire. I Thank the stars that it was not me. Say hello to your Deity from Allen Graih and watch her roll her eyes into her head. This will be my last posting and contact with you. Love and luck Wal.

Some people mistakenly practise exercises designed to purify the self and attain spiritual growth and enlightenment by 'awakening the Kundalini'. This can lead to madness and death (this author, a holistic therapist, has had clients with this problem)... this bit needs a bit more thought, especially pinning down which problem

@anonymous: Yes, Allen, as we heal and master ourselves so we increase our ability to deal with negativity. There are many other forms of negativity other than those you mention, such as negative interdimensionals, negative extra-terrestrials, negative group entities, negative dragons, and malevolents that are divine and higher. We attract these to ourselves as we become ready to deal with them. The trick is to only attract beneficial negativity. Humans are designed to evolve through learning from both positive and negative.

@DragonfireWal: DragonfireWal, I have actively engaged in conversations about Dragonfire to people. It is the darkness that defines the light, or so I was taught. This philosophy tends to scare people a bit, fearing that we will attract dark forces toward the light that will use us to enter the worldly plane of earthly realm.

The forces of darkness are really not as interested in Humankind as they think. Not enough to appraoch the light at any rate.

Besides it is our own internal forces we all have to be concerned with, and perhaps deal with, but not to fear that which is within. After all these voices that speak through us and to us are from our own consciousness. They speak to us as individuals, no one else.

Common dark forms include vampires, classic demons, devils, and perhaps shadowy types of noncaporal entities, utilizing what we fear to take form.

As a lifetime follower of dragonfire, though not so secretive about my belief structure, I have found very few people that understand the introspective nature of a dragonfire awakening experience. It is always nice to see more "dragons" emerging from the lair to spread their wings and fly free.

There is a tremendous amount of information and I find it all very intriguing. I have tried some Ti Chi and found it to be very soothing and feel better afterwards. I also love the speed painting of the Dragon. It is amazing how the artist builds apon layers to create lighting, dimension and give life to the painting.
