Enlightenment - Knowing The Direction Your Life Is Going

Updated on April 23, 2013

"All major religious traditions carry basically the same message, that is love, compassion and forgiveness; the important thing is they should be part of our daily lives."

~Dalai Lama

What It Means to BE HERE NOW...

Now is a moving target and if all things exist for us only in the here and now, our focus must be keen to see where we are going. In one blink a choice or decision creates a direction whose promise has lured us into it. At this juncture, every perception coming in on our wave length is a signal to be in joy or turmoil. The thing that helps us decide which one is how we interpret the event. The human psyche creates a venue for itself that becomes the filter for everything you experience through your five and sometimes six or more senses. If you think some veiled part of you is not calling the shots, then just look at how you took the above information. Wasn't there someone in your mind telling you what to think about that?

It never seems to stop throughout our lives. There always seems to be someone telling us what to think, but mostly it is we, ourselves, telling us what we should be thinking about what is going on. If we all lived in a way that possibility was our focus and we didn't already think that we knew what was going on, it would allow us to be present to the direction of the flow of life. I have spent way too much of my life swimming up stream, and it doesn't mean I don't do it still just because I am in the active presence of enlightenment. The light holds a mighty draw, but one must keep their eyes forever on the target.

I personally experience as much as I can through the interpretation of creating peace of mind. This keeps me as close to the present as I have thus been able to be. But, I am sometimes feisty and insist on calling on the separate God to bring my life into order. I know that God speaks to me and I know that I have experienced being one with God and with everything else for that matter. The amount of energy it takes to maintain the vision of God in me seems like a lot, though. I guess that's why no one has yet said that being a human being is a breeze. In fact, if there is anyone out there who is bored out of their mind, please tell us what it's like to be there. Otherwise, I would love to hear what keeps your clock ticking and in which direction it is going.

Enlightenment, know the direction of your life.

Happy Spring!!!!

Love,

Lela
