Ever wonder how Tarot cards and other forms of Divination work?
Death. The card of Scorpio. The death of something old to be reborn as something new.
I've done many Tarot and Rune readings and the questions I get asked the most are, "How do you know that?" or, "How do those cards work?" If that person is interested in a very long conversation then I explain to them what I'm going to try my best to explain here.
All forms of Divination are tools. Tools that link the subconscious of the Reader to the subconscious of the recipient being Read. Doing a Reading for yourself is tapping into your own subconscious mind. Each individual subconscious is linked to all others resulting in the Universal Subconscious. Every thought you, me or anyone else that has ever existed is there. An infinite knowledge pool. Using a tool, like Tarot cards, allows you to tap into the information stored there. You're mind knows what it needs and what you need, however, it doesn't always have a way to let you know what those things are in a way you'll pay attention to. Your subconscious does it through dreams quite frequently but, do we always pay attention or even remember them? We think, "Why did I have that dream, it was so strange?" Dreams are a way for your subconscious to tell you something. With Divination you're able to get into the very same place and bring to the surface things that you need to know and find important. Even though we are all connected, we still have individual needs and we all find different things important. Relationships, success, enlightenment, passions, any kind of pursuit that wants to be known to you.
The Universe. Your goal has been achieved and success will soon come. The union of body and mind
I've spent, and still spend, a lot of time trying to figure out how Divination works. I am, by no means, an expert on this subject and am always learning new things the more I explore. Doubting what I believe in drives me to find something that fits better and makes more sense. I've never had many like minded people to bounce around ideas with so, I've had to rely on my own experiences to understand this and other processes dealing with the mind. Since, every person is different and this subject deals with things that can't always be proven or disproved, I welcome other perspectives. I always find someone else's point of view interesting as, hopefully, you've found mine to be as well.
