The Ugly Reality of not Knowing God

It's a very sad time in the United States of America when we have politicians who are enacting laws which allow women to "abort," a child up to one minute before birth. A few politicians want to set a law in place that allows mothers of newly born babies to decide if the baby should live or die.

This ugly, horrific display of hatred toward the most helpless among us is not limited to America.

A liberal group in Argentina decided that it was a good idea to hold a mock abortion of Jesus on a woman dressed as the Biblical Mary.

My first thought was, "how repulsive." But I suddenly felt this overwhelming sense of sadness as I recalled the story of Stephen who was stoned to death for his belief in Christ Jesus. Just before Stephen died he said, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.”

Before I continue, I must warn all readers that the next two portions of this article are ugly, vile and completely heartbreaking.

Liberals Hold a Mock Abortion on the Biblical Mary

Why Such Hatred Aimed at Jesus?

The women who took part in the above "mock abortion of Jesus," are spiritually blind. They have no idea what they're doing. They have rebelled against God, and the darkness that has blinded them has also revealed their hate-filled hearts.

With such a violent display against God and the life that He formed, they are openly mocking Him with the cruelty of the most sinful darkened hearts and minds imaginable.

It's no surprise:

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5

This is nothing new. The world had degenerated into such a state of ugly sinfulness once before. During the flood that took place during the time of Noah, only eight souls were saved out of all the people that inhabited this world at that time.

Today we are seeing the complete implosion of morality throughout the world, just as it was during the time of Noah.

The women involved in the "mock abortion of Jesus," say that they do not believe in God. If this were so, they would have no desire to draw the Son of the Living God into their outward display of their own murderous hearts and their hatred for the light that reveals their own darkness.

Infant who Survived Abortion Cries for over an Hour

Live Action News, ran a story about a baby born in Poland, that survived an abortion and was left alone to die. The infant cried for more than an hour before passing away.

Jesus said that in the last days hearts would grow cold because lawlessness/iniquity would abound:

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:12

The very words of Jesus are proving to be true. We are seeing it right before our eyes. Still, many will not hear.

This is happening world wide.

Like a cloud of darkness that has engulfed the entire world, leaving confusion, anger, spitefulness and even insanity among national and world leaders.

When God shines a light into darkness, evil hearts can't be hidden. Even the words that come out of the mouths of politicians are exposing their hearts.

Many are seeing what is currently taking place, but many cannot see the blatant evil that is out in the open right now. They make excuses, justifying evil and making themselves partakers of it!

Hope

As Long as There is Breath, There is Hope

God is so very merciful, and it's important that people understand that God is calling for repentance. In the book of Revelations, God gives people the opportunity to turn to Him and be saved. Still, many will not.

Here are a few examples:

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Revelation 3:3

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Revelation 9:20

There is a passage in Ecclesiastes that says:

This is the tragedy of everything that happens under the sun: Everyone shares the same destiny. Moreover, the hearts of mortals are full of evil. Madness is in their hearts while they are still alive. After that, they join the dead. 4 But all who are among the living have hope, because a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 The living know that they will die, but the dead don’t know anything. There is no more reward for the dead when the memory of them has faded. Ecclesiastics 9:3-5

God's word also tells us that He does not wish that any should perish but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth.

Jesus is constantly calling out to all people to come to Him.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:28-29

So many in this world do not understand the wicked state of the heart of the natural human being, or the healing power that comes only from Christ Jesus. He cleanses us, He heals our wounds, and He covers us with the white garment of His righteousness.

When Stephen was stoned to death, he knew that those who stoned him trusted only in their worldly goods. They did not understand that trust in God almighty transcends anything in this world.

He knew that those who stoned him were "wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked."

He knew that the wicked state of their own hearts were on display as they stoned him to death, and he knew that the only hope that they had, was to turn to God in Christ Jesus.

As Stephen took his last breath and asked God to be merciful to the very men who killed him, he knew that the mercy of God is far greater than anything we can possibly imagine.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:5-7

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-30

For all followers of Christ, I call for prayer without ceasing.

Times are dark and ugly, and this is just the beginning of the end.

For those who do not know God, turn to Him in Christ Jesus while there's still time.
