Ecclesiastes chapter 10 - 4 : If the spirit of the rulers rise up against thee, leave not the place ; for yielding pacifieth great offences.

Matthews chapter 16 - 23 : But turned, and said unto Peter, get thee behind me, Satan; thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of man.

Matthews chapter 18 - 7 : Woe unto the world be cause of offences, for it must need be that by whom the offences cometh.

Luke chapter 17 - 1 : Then said he unto the disciples, it is impossible but that offences will come : but woe unto him , through whom they come.

Roman chapter 5 - 15 : But not as the offences,so also is the free gift. For if through the offences of one many be dead, much more grace of God, and the gift by grace which is by one man, Jesus Christ hath abound unto many.

Romans chapter 9 - 33 : As it is written, behold, I lay in Si con a stumbling stone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him, shall not be ashamed.

Galatians chapter 5 - 11 : And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution, then is the offence of the cross ceased.

Today's daily Words Of encouragement word is Offence: Offence meant to violate one's laws or custom. To go against the custom or law of someone.   The children of Israel violated Gods laws, over and over again, because they were stiff neck and rebellious people.. Some of us are just like the stiff neck and rebellious people  that rebel against Gods l was and statutes.

We don't want to live our lives committing all kinds of ungodly offences against God's laws.  So we live our lives within the realm of Gods laws and statues.  We need to cancel out the offences that causes us to sin against God, and stop violating God's word. If we we can do this, then our lives will be more spiritually blessed and we can live prospering with good  health, wealth and happiness.
