The bible tells us that" Now, this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity: and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst and all is bowels gushed out": Which means this scripture is talking about Judas Iscariot; who kissed Jesus on the cheek and sold him out for thirty pieces of silver. So, Judas purchased a field and ended up dying there, because he was ashamed of what he had done to Jesus.
