Matthews chapter 11 - 29 : Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
2 Corinthians chapter 6 - 14 : Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?.. and what communion hath light with darkness.
Galatians chapter 5 - 1 : Stand fast therefore in liberty where with Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
1 Timothy chapter 1 - 6 : Let many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and His doctrine be not blasphemed.
As Jesus carried the burden of the cross for us, when he died on the cross; we have to carry our burdens... even though sometimes... they get very heavy. If we just only realize that when they beat Jesus , spit on him, and called him names....he never grumbled or said a word....he carried his yoke ,and we to must bear our own yoke .. just like Jesus. A yoke is always a heavy burden upon us to carry... but Jesus said he would make it lite.
Even though we're not Jesus; we are suppose to be strong in our faith so will be able to do the same as Jesus. many of us don't have the strength, faith and courage to carry out whatever duty God put before us.
